It's been 29 years since KC has won the series. They haven't even been in the playoffs since then. I was only 3, so I'm excited to see them hopefully win it tonight.

In a past topic someone said that in this day in age, we really don't have to hunt for food. There's another reason there are hunting seasons. It's to keep the animal population in control too. Plus the not ordinary meats (elk, deer, moose) are harder to come by and more expensive. Just like a farmer butchering his own cows.

Also the alligator population in Louisiana would be out of control if not for hunting them. And if you ever watch Swamp People, you'd know lots of people still live off the land. Just because someone might live in the city and buy all their stuff from a store doesn't mean that hunting is going out of style or that it ever will. We're on the top of the food chain for a reason. Predators have eyes in front, prey has eyes on the side.

^That is definitely true. Although imo, Deer population in NoVA is kept in control well enough by the cars :P

edit: that was a reply to your earlier post. I hit reply too long after I actually opened the tab, lol XD

That's the whole point though, to minimize the amount that people hit with cars.

There's some counties in my state that allow as many antlerless deer permits you want, as long as you can fill them. Just because of the highways nearby, to avoid the car accidents due to animals. The conservation department does a fine job here in keeping their numbers in check.
