And if Enrei is going complain about it, he can at least contribute to the topic at hand.
I did. I mentioned a quote from Kant on his categorical imperative and said that's how I try to frame my moral opinions for things like this.

And even if you (the two of you who've said it so far and anyone else who might want to say that as their answer) do think morality is subjective, you still hold some sort of definite opinion on the topic, so what is that opinion and why do you hold it?

Would you pirate things or speed or steal just because you wanted to? Are there situations where you'd think you're "in the right" to break those laws? Do you hold others to the same standards, or are you giving yourself a different set of standards?
Now that is a question I can answer. I think stealing is wrong, but pirating is stealing and I have to admit to doing it. No excuse for it, I don't do it much. Actually stealing like physical things I consider wrong, even if you have no choice. You still have a choice. I speed all the time on the highways, usually 5-10 over. I stick to traffic lights and proper driving. In city driving, I drive the speed limit or maybe 1 or 2 over. Whatever the rest of traffic is going I will match it.

I wish people knew how to use a 4 way stop properly. Had one asshole just two days ago, I came to a stop going to make a left, had my blinker on. Car coming opposite way was still coming to a stop, I start to go and so does he. I said no asshole, and put my car in front of his, he laid on the horn and so did I. It was dark, so he/she couldn't see my finger.

I can't stand murderers, rapists, or child molesters. I think they should all die. Especially child molesters. They should have their dick put in a vise and the vise welded shut. Then set the building on fire.

Drinking underage is subjective, too many different scenarios. On a whole I don't think it's good. Illegal drugs, only one people should do is weed, the others are man made and very addictive to weak people. I've been offered coke, meth, and other drugs. Never done them never will, used to smoke pot, but I'm sure everyone knew that. Like I've said before controlling your drugs is different from them controlling you, same with alcohol. Not sure if anyone knows how much a quarter ounce of weed is, but it'd last me 2 weeks cuz I don't smoke it like a chimney. I drink sometimes, but not to get drunk, just to have a few drinks and relax in my home. Drunk drivers are assholes, they should be charged with first degree murder if they end up killing someone IMO.

So I answer the question and nothing. Hard to keep much going around here.

Give it time. I usually prefer to just read things unless I have something to add.

Funny you don't say that to Lotus, but only me, now why is that?
I didn't think multiple people would say it.

On it's own, just saying morals are subjective and nothing else is just like "Well, other people can have other opinions so I don't need to state mine or even have one."
I could state my opinion, but the topic didn't ask for that. It asked "is it morally acceptable." I don't know - is it? There's no definite answer.

"How do you guys feel?" is typically one way people asks for others opinions.

You've been told several times the answer was to the topic title. Now I did answer your questions you asked earlier that you were dying to know. Then I get nothing for my effort you wanted so badly. What a waste of my time.

If I had a gold star, you could get a gold star. Can you elaborate more on why you feel one thing or another?

And >"I think stealing is wrong, but pirating is stealing and I have to admit to doing it. No excuse for it, I don't do it much."
Then why do you pirate?

I don't have the money to get it the right way. I play roms, but I have or did have the games I play roms of, so I don't feel that is bad. Movies and songs though, I don't do anymore, for a couple years now. I buy movies a lot, just sometimes I can't afford it and I want to see it. Plus there was a time I bought a payperview UFC event and I recorded the wrong channel like an idiot, and I was already out the 50 bucks for it, so I pirated it.

What else did you want me to elaborate on?

But it's still wrong, even though you seem to have the intent to buy it or bought it at some point?

Any of it, really. I don't particularly care on a personal level, I was just trying to drum up a pseudo-philosophical discussion for everyone.

It's wrong and I don't plan to do it anymore, wish I wouldn't have. The UFC thing I don't consider wrong, I already paid for it, not spending another 50 to watch it.

I'll break down certain parts if asked, but not sure how to elaborate anymore than I have unless specific questions that I can answer are asked.
