Thanks to a certain annual marathon I was almost completely blocked off from work again, so I'm twisting around unfamiliar streets to get there and I end up turning in front of somebody else doing the exact same thing. Everyone was fine, but our bumpers were banged up quite a bit. Damage was worse one my end (still not too bad) which I'm alright with since it was my fault. But I was running that through my head all day long and I have no clue how I did not see that other car. I'm just making a turn and all of the sudden: CAR. Also, fuck downtown and all their freeway lanes, one way streets, and left turn yields. I hate driving. To top everything off I was 40 minutes late. |

The damage wasn't bad enough that I felt it needed it. A couple new plastic rivets, zips ties, and just a bit of electrical tape and I got it back into pretty sturdy condition. Although I should probably replace the driver's side headlight since it was the worst off and the high beam doesn't work on it anymore. @Enrei: One of my co-workers said the exact same thing. Scott, is that you? |

All I'm going to say is make sure you close your windows at night. |

If you have safety inspections in your state it's not going to pass like that anyway, so yeah, probably a good idea XD My car's super beat-up too. mostly from my sister smashing it into a garage... twice... in two weeks XD It turned 11 this year and has nearly 155k on it, and even though that happened probably 50k miles ago, we just never expected it to keep going XD Figured it wasn't worth it... and then kept assuming... and kept assuming XD |

No inspection, so I'm fine, but I still want to replace the headlights. The other party filed a claim for their damage, so now there's paperwork. Some questions I don't know the answers to or I forgot ( like where it took place). Shit. |
