I nominate… Master Sword Origin: The Legend of Zelda ![]() Description: The Master Sword, often referred to as the Blade of Evil's Bane, is a recurring sword in the Legend of Zelda series. In many games it is said to be the only sword capable of defeating Ganondorf or Ganon. This legendary blade was crafted by the Ancient Sages, blessed with the power to vanquish beings of evil. Pros: -Indestructible -Can deflect magic attacks back at the caster -Can repel any form of evil -Can seal evil -Can fire a magical beam -Is not effected by time -Prevents curses on the wielder Cons: -Can only be wielded by the bearer of the Triforce of Courage (good and bad depending) -Is at it’s strongest when against evil, therefore if used against someone with a pure heart it wouldn’t be as powerful Keyblade Origin: Kingdom Hearts ![]() Description: The Keyblade is a key-shaped weapon that is used by those with strong hearts. There are three known types of Keyblades; Light realm Keyblades, Dark realm Keyblades, and Keyblades of heart. The keyblade is mainly used for defeating heartless and freeing hearts. Light realm keyblade masters are tasked with protecting the realm from darkness and upholding order and balance. Pros: -Can be summoned at any time -If broken, it can reform itself back to it’s original state -Can seal any lock (or doors) in any universe -Can unseal any lock (or doors) in any universe -Can open a portal / gate/ door to other worlds -Can transform into a vehicle (glider) to allow the wielder to travel between worlds -Allows the wielder to use magic (such as elemental magic, healing magic, magnet and gravity) -Can be thrown and even controlled telepathically -Can attach keychains to change it’s form, allowing it to become stronger -The keyblade can only be wielded by it’s chosen master (unless the Keyblade deems another Keyblade user worthy and decides to obey that person instead) -It has the ability to free hearts, which can separate the heart from the body Cons: -Can be be either good (light) or evil (dark) depending on the wielder -Can be weak or strong, depending on the keychain attached and the wielder -The Keyblade decides it’s wielder itself. It only deems those with a strong heart worthy (therefore you cannot force it to obey) Sword of Seals Origin: Fire Emblem: The Sword of Seals (Fūin no Tsurugi) ![]() Description: Sword of Seals is the sword wielded by the hero Hartmut alongside the Eckesachs during the Scouring. The blade is said to be stronger than the Divine Weapons. After defeating Idenn, Hartmut decided to have pity on her and used both the sword and the Fire Emblem to seal her in the Dragon Temple. After the war ended the sword was placed in the Shrine of Seals alongside Bramimond and his spell Apocalypse. Later, the sword would be unsealed by Roy and used to defeat Zephiel and a revived Idenn. Pros: -Divine weapon that is enchanted by magic -Can produce extremely scorching flames from it’s edge -Can emit large fireballs as a projectile -It holds incredible physical power, imbued with magic -Can seal magic and curses -Can slay dragons with ease -Has a high critical rate -Has a high advantage over axes and cleaver type weapons Cons: -Can be destroyed with use (it's like a double edged sword; it's the most powerful weapon in the game but has a limited number of uses before it's destroyed or repaired with magic) -Has a natural weakness to lances/spears Edited by andaryu, Sep 26 2010, 02:02 PM.

|
Frostmourne Origin: Warcraft III Used By: Arthus Pros: - Immense physical attack. - Deals 'Chaos' damage, making it effective against every type of armour, and in the realms of the story, capable of slaying divine beings. - Story-wise, Arthus used it to destroy an entire Scourge base by himself, whereas a whole army pretty much failed. Cons: - Has a nasty habit of rending the soul of the wielder and chaining them into eternal servitude to the Lich King. Edited by Synesthesia, Sep 27 2010, 03:11 AM.

Camera Obscura![]() Origin: Fatal Frame Used by: the protagonists of the series Pros: - it's the only way to defeat ghosts. - it's upgradeable, and remarkably so. - it takes different kinds of film, of varying power. - it has different lenses as well - some for power, some for speed, etc. - it reveals things that would otherwise be invisible (secret doors, etc). - it makes ghosts easier to see. Cons: - it's ONLY usable against ghosts. - using it about guarantees that you'll get the crap scared out of you. Edited by Lotus Prince, Sep 27 2010, 06:21 PM.

Psycho Wand Origin: Phantasy Star Online (first version, for the Dreamcast) Used by: Any Force character with the required MST (mental strength -- think of it like magic power, basically) ![]() Pros: - Casts Barta, Foie, and Zonde (basic ice, fire, and lightning elemental spells, respectively) at no TP cost - Reduces TP cost by 50% (TP is the equivalent of magic points in traditional JRPGs) - Raises DFP (defense) by 50. - Good for trading Cons: - Despite the TP cost bonus decrease listed above, use of this weapon for spellcasting will reduce your HP by the normal requirements of a given spell. For example, if you cast a spell that requires 30 TP to cast normally (without the wand), though it will cost only 15 with the Psycho Wand equipped, it will take a full 30 points from your HP to compensate. - Extremely weak physical attack power.
