While the R.Y.N.O. has amazing destructive force, the Ragnell could easily be used to deflect the missile barrage. The R.Y.N.O. is also has limited ammunition, so if all else were to fail the Ragnell wielder could simply wait for the rocket launcher to run out of missiles and then attack full force. The Ragnell could also be thrown at the R.Y.N.O., if the great sword ever made contact with the rocket launcher it would destroyed in an instant I would say. The flames emitted from the Ragnell could also set of the missiles, so the Ragnell's wielder may take slight damage from the blast but the sword itself is indestructible and after one good hit the R.Y.N.O. would fall. Would the wielder of the blade actually be able to deflect 7 missiles at once though? Without harming himself, I mean. Granted he can use the flame attacks to destroy the missiles, but they probably have a large splashing explosion as all missiles do, causing great harm to the user of the Ragnell before the R.Y.N.O. is out of ammo. Well considering that Ike can counter missiles in Brawl with the Ragnell and take no physical damage, I think he could stop all the missiles at once. The blade is blessed with divine power, so it could deflect missiles without the wielder being harmed. If the explosions were big and close enough, he could use the Ragnell as a shield as it has amazing defensive capabilities and the divine magic could also shield him. |

Three things 1) If the explosion itself is big, wouldn't that hit Ike? 2) I would imagine a rocket burst like that would be spread out, converging on the target. I would ask for a gameplay video of this weapon in action to be able to decide if Ragnell's defensive capabilities would be completely effective. 3) If the rockets were not completely synced for some reason, a defensive fire burst from the Ragnell could miss one or more rocket, which would leave him open. |

Andaryu, have you played Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn? Ragnell is far more powerful in both those games than in Super Smash Bros. One thing the description missed is that it can send blue waves for long range attacks, which could probably eliminate the missiles a lot easier... Although the R.Y.N.O. is far more advanced, and can send several missiles at once, although Ragnell is near indestructible. For now, I'm going to reluctantly give my vote to Ragnell, since it's both close and long range. If it didn't have long range, then I probably would give my vote to the R.Y.N.O. |

Ragnell. You can only carry so much ammo at once, so the user of the sword would only need to run, hide, or use his sword magic to deal with the missiles coming his way. Either fighter would be dead with one good hit, but the Ragnell user has much more of an advantage, being able to create fire/explosions, and blue energy beam/slashes while he closes the distance. |

I think the Ragnell takes this easily. It's a legendary sword that's capable of piercing through the darkest armor; there's no way it can't take what is practically an ordinary gun. And as was mentioned, it can send out blue shockwaves which would help get rid of the missiles. |

Hi, I'm: An Innocent Bystander

Wouldn't the R.Y.N.O. blow really big holes in the ground? Bit hard to deflect missiles and such if you're standing in a 20ft crater caused by deflecting missiles and such. Also, who says that a missle designed to detonate on impact isn't going to, y'know, detonate on impact when you go to smack it away?
