Does anyone else experience this? Like, you know full well what a particular word means, but yet you also have difficulty adequately explaining it? For me, the word "extrapolate" comes to mind. I know what it means, but it's hard for me to convey it to others. |

I have a hard time explaining myself sometimes, and it normally leads to hand motions and made up words. |

Can't think of anything in particular, but I do often have the trouble that, while I clearly understand what something means in my head, I just can't seem to put it into words. |

Well, here's a good example. If you were talking to someone who was color blind, how would you describe color to them? "It's past the red building." What's red? Fuck if I know how to explain it. |

But what if your red is actually my green and we all perceive colors differently? When I was little I thought I was so cool for thinking of that but apparently everyone does. I was very sad when I found out. And as for the actual question of what's red, the only way I can think of to explain it is that it is electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength of whatever. Of course that doesn't really help the blind man, but that's the only objective way to explain it that I can think of. |

Best example ever: "Ambiguity" (or any variation of it) |
