True, but meanwhile in 5 years developers will have learned how to make games that look better and use less. Graphics aren't everything, and most can't afford the insane parts required to make that game look as amazing as people want. @Storm: This article explains exactly my viewpoint on Crysis nearly perfectly: http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/pc/2010/06/14/crysis-was-terrible/1 Now for this vote, technically Crysis is the winner if you're going for PURE looks, but I'm also factoring in the part that I can spend $200-$350 (Depending on if you get a deal and what not), and get XIII which looks pretty damn good as well, and save myself more than just a pretty penny when compared to Crysis. The parts or optimization or anything else besides how the game looks is completely irrelevant. This is for Best Graphics and graphics are just how it looks, nothing else. |

That's true, this is about best graphics and nothing else. I think we should just move on. This thread served it's purpose, Crysis takes the win. Thanks for everyone's opinions though, that's what makes discussing games on here fun. I always learn something. Like I said for the best weapons tournament, it's not all about the winner but what it takes to get there. I'll do a new NA Awards thread soon, it just takes me a bit to put them together and I want to do at least two next. Edited by andaryu, Feb 15 2011, 11:49 PM.

I'd give FFXIII my vote. RE5 does look fantastic, but I picked it up again the other day and the graphics don't wow me as much now as they did at first. |
