Hm, good point. Sadly, the only DQM game I've played is Joker, and Slime didn't really have anything specific to it in that... nor have I played Rocket Slime, which I suppose could also provide ideas for moves. I toyed with the idea of Slime morphing into the shapes of weapons though. Dunno about that though. And Anda, that is a fair point about DQVIII being a PS2 game. You're probably right, a Hero like DQI's or III's is probably more likely, and Polan's DQV Hero idea is also great. |

Every DQ up to 6 has been on Nintendo consoles in some way or form, and so has 9, so they have 7 games they could choose from for one or more characters. There's plenty of DQ combos. Honestly, you could make a SSB spin off with just DQ characters if you really wanted to, there's so many. So there's plenty of choices if they were to go 3rd party for a few more characters. |

Hmm...seeing as no one has mentioned it yet, I'd love to see Kalas and/or Sagi from Baten Kaitos join the fray. I think they could be good additions (even if we already have a couple blue-haired heroes already). |

Add Black Shadow and give him Ganondorf's moveset, then give Ganondorf his own unique moveset. It blows my mind how the main villain of Zelda is a clone of fucking Captain Falcon. |

^ I agree with Storm on Ganondorf. I like using him. Although, I don't plan on getting a 3DS or a Wii U, but if they were to include The Black Knight from Fire Emblem, (as someone else already mentioned) then I'd seriously consider getting one. |

^ Black Knight would be so awesome, me and Storm have discussed potential move sets regarding him. He would no doubt be a clone of Ike (they have sister swords even!), but he would have his own advantages like better range and speed. |

^ Right after Brawl came out I made a potential moveset for him! I'll tell you guys about it. His recovery move would be that warp powder, but since supposedly it tires him, it would probably be limited. His main special could be Eclipse, his smash ball could be Great Eclipse or something along those lines. (Like Ike) And of course his down special would be a counter of some kind, considering that all of the Fire Emblem characters have had that so far His regular A attacks would probably have some range to them like you said. But speed, eh idk. If I'm working on this project, I'd rather make Ike faster and the BK slower. EDIT~ I forgot about Left and right special. umm I actually never thought about that one. Maybe a charge attack that acts like his critical in RD. Like Ike has that thing where he charges his sword or something and crosses the map.

For the side special, I think a projectile wave fired would be good, instead of dashing forward like Ike, he could use that wave that he uses long range in the game. Eclipse is what I said too, I think his moves could definitely focus around that. It would be like a dark/blue fire element as opposed to Ike's regular fire. I know they don't focus on fire in the game, but Ike does in Brawl. I know his type of character wouldn't seem to have speed, which is true... He would probably just excel in range. I'm just comparing everything to Ike, since Ike is so slow you would figure the clone would need something different. Maybe the best solution would be to increase Ike's speed and lower his power, then give Black Knight range and power, but of course his own speed would suffer greatly. A pretty good trade off since most people consider Ike very op. Edited by andaryu, Jul 14 2011, 02:16 PM.
