A quick link I checked said that you need 71 pearls out of 88.

Okay, that's still a lot, but you encounter most of the pearls just by going through the story, and the optional dungeon in the volcano has something ridiculous like ten or twelve.

Are any of them missable? I honestly remember having an issue where I was like 1 pearl off.

Regardless, 71 is a lot to get. It's like the 350 Blast Shards of inFamous, the single worst idea in that series in my opinion. Collectathons aren't fun to anyone, are they? I've never see someone say "YAY! A COLLECTATHON!"

Some of them MIGHT be missable. I know that some photo opportunities are. Also, you can't reenter certain parts of the factory, so I missed an MDisk.

Nintendo really is digging their own grave. If only they would push harder to make games available in all regions it would provide their customers with more software on a literally dying system.

The highly anticipated Tales of Graces for Wii is not being localized in English. While it is true that Namco hardly localizes Tales of games, they announced earlier that Tales of Graces WILL be brought to America for PS3. That's pretty much like a smack to the face for Wii owners. A similar situation is the No More Heroes series. It came out on Wii, did alright, and that's the end of it. They've been developing a vastly superior version called Heroes Paradise for PS3 which will not only sell better, but has everything the Wii version had plus more, including motion controls.

This is going to make developers want to develop their games straight to PS3 (or 360 for that matter) to skip going through the Wii phase and start developing the superior version. It's just how it looks to me, if it's not 1st party, Nintendo just doesn't care.

"Namco Bandai is localising it on a PS3 Blu-Ray disc instead."

At least we WILL be getting it in some form, but it sucks to all the Wii owners. This might not have anything to do with Nintendo though. We don't get a lot of Tales games, ones I really wish we did: Tales of Destiny's Remake, official Tales of Destiny 2 (Not Tales of Eternia which was named Destiny 2 here), Tales of Vesperia PS3, Tales of the World (Outside of Radiant Mythology 1), the list goes on...

It's probably just Namco-Bandai being retarded again.

On the other hand, isn't Graces like 2-3 years old already? They had plenty of time to release it in the US...

Bascially they're doing the reverse of what they did for Tales of Vesperia here. Here, we got the original version of Tales of Vesperia, which was then reshipped on the PS3 as well (It was initially 360 only). Now, they did the reverse and skipped the original version and are giving us the remastered version on the PS3. I can't really complain about that because it's the better version. However, who knows if the reason we didn't get the Wii version was because of Nintendo's stupidity...no idea.

Side note on the subject: How does it take them 2 years to localize this? Apparently ToG has a 2012 release date. Tales of Graces F was released in 2010. It doesn't take two years to translate a game. With a developer studio as large as the Tales games should have, it should take them a month honestly.

What's going to be superior about it?

Pfft. The Wii owners should've learned their lesson years ago. The Wii gets jack shit in terms of quality games. Yeah, they do exist, but of all the games the Wii has, I own ten games for it, and two of them are terrible, one is a PS2 port, and the other was never released in America.

Wii owners shouldn't really expect to get anything worth noticing at this point.

Additional content and much better graphics. I don't care for the motion controls either, but it's not required. The only reason they put it on the Wii in the first place is because of the motion, so now that Sony has it too, PS3 owners will be getting the game which is pretty cool.

I don't care about the graphics, but do you have any idea what the additional content is?
