http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/29187/miyamoto-star-fox-will-be-reborn-if-people-buy-3ds-remake/ ...Wow. He's seriously considering killing off the series based on the sales of a REMAKE? |

That's a terrible idea. But then again Nintendo has been full of terrible ideas lately so it doesn't surprise me. Starfox has pretty much been dead since SF64 came out, the DS and Gamecube ones didn't even feel like proper Starfox titles, so I've already come to terms with the franchise fading away. |

Guess it's goodbye to Star Fox then. SF643D will most likely not sell very well. |

There's a bad joke to be made here about being unable to let you do that, Star Fox, but it's just out of my reach. Although, really, if the series is killed off, I don't think I'd even notice. Nintendo's been packing so few AAA titles recently that I can't be bothered to take much interest in them these days. I doubt they'd randomly kill off the series anyway. They love their remakes. I can see it now: THE LONG-AWAITED RESURRECTION OF A CLASSIC SERIES: STAR FOX, TO BE RELEASED LATER THIS YEAR (2015) |

I liked Assault, honestly. Command Mission was kind of mediocre, but it could provide some quick entertainment...Adventures was bad, that's all. I'll definitely pick up Star Fox 3D IF I buy a 3DS, and if they can just stick to the Arwing ONLY stuff, sequels wouldn't be that bad. |

Man, first Capcom cancels Mega Man Legends 3, seemingly due to poor prototype sales, and now it's screwing up Star Fox... What's that? Star Fox has nothing to do with Capcom? So TWO companies are acting like complete fucking idiots? |

That's the thing; the prototype never came out, so it had nothing to do with that, despite Capcom basically promising they'd release it, and that it would determine whether or not the game would be greenlit. Instead they decided, out of nowhere, to just scrap the project entirely and never even release the prototype. |

The worst part is that they already admitted that 3DS sales are not what they wanted or expected. Here's a great idea: Let's base an ENTIRE franchise off of a game on a system that already isn't doing as well as expected. So couple bad 3DS sales with it being a remake with not everyone being in love with Star Fox = Star Fox is fuuuuucked. |

http://www.siliconera.com/2011/08/06/a-list-of-nintendos-best-selling-wii-games/ So much casual crap... And it's such a shame that NSMBW outsold SMG1 and 2 combined. |
