Given that this game doesn't look like it's going to make it to the states, I'm guessing most people here don't care about it, but I thought I'd make a topic anyway.

Hopefully I'll get to play this later tonight. If I do, I might post my thoughts here. For those that don't know what it is, it's a JRPG for the Wii, but it's not like Final Fantasy or something. From what I've seen/heard, the gameplay is more like an Action RPG. It is also developed by many of the same people that developed Xenogears and Xenosaga, including Takahashi. It's not related to either of the games however, and the Xeno name was pretty much slapped onto it for seemingly no reason other than to increase sales. It was once called "Monado: Beginning of the New World", I believe.

According to Nintendo, they'll consider bringing this to the states if it sells well enough in Europe, but I have my doubts that it will.

I don't have any dual layer DVDs yet. I should have them tonight hopefully, but I'm honestly still not expecting it to work.

Changed my mind since I decided to not pay $17 for 5 discs. Guess I'll look around on Ebay or something.

Probably the best bet. You can surely find an imported used copy for cheap online but not for a while until after release and the price drops.

Screw it, I'll just wait for my birthday. It's only a month away anyway, and gives me time to play some other games I've missed out on over the years.

I didn't get it for my birthday as you probably all know by now, but I did order it at the beginning of this month. It arrived yesterday, and I put about 40 minutes into it earlier. Will spend more time with it later.

I'm already liking the fighting system. I dunno what to think of the voices, since I'm definitely not used to hearing nothing but British voices. XD

Overall though, I think I'm gonna enjoy this game a lot.

The soundtrack in this game is surprisingly good. There are already a few tunes that have stuck out to me, and I'm not even that far into the story.

Also, I can't get over the environments and atmosphere in this game. They're so awesome, especially with the whole day/night cycle thing.

Everything sounds great Slash! Especially the atmosphere, I've heard that being praised the most above all others. The battle system seems simple yet enjoyable, with an epic score to boot.

So the voices are in British? That kinda of surprises me considering everyone always bringing up the complaint "But the game is already in English". If the voices sound like that then Nintendo of America would more than likely do all new voice work which would get pretty expensive and maybe that's why they haven't localized it yet?
