http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/3ds/en_na/3dsambassador.jsp?menu=how&submenu=ctr-ht-amb-lookup&source=facebook You can use that website to check your eligibility for the program (if you're paranoid like me). On Sept. 1, 10 NES games will be given out, 5 of which are: -Balloon Fight -Super Mario Bros. -Donkey Kong Jr. -Ice Climber -Legend of Zelda Sometime before the end of this year, 10 GBA games will be given out, 5 of which are: -Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 -Mario Kart: Super Circuit -Metroid Fusion -WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$ -Mario vs. Donkey Kong So, what do you guys think about the program? Is it a good apology to people who bought the 3DS at $250? Or should they have done more? |

They should have done more, honestly...but anyone who bought it from Wal-Mart got it for the discount price. |

Die pig!

Well really...in their defense, 20 games is probably worth more than the $70 discount, so in all reality they did more than enough to compensate for not getting the discount. The problem is if you don't like the games... |

Kachou on!

I think this is about the best they could do. A refund would've been better, but it probably would've been a nightmare to pull off. |

Hey, look, a combination of games that I don't care about, and old-ass games that everyone, everywhere, ever, has played decades ago! |

The one and only

As Polan said, it really comes down to whether or not you enjoy the games presented. Personally, they seem rather exquisite to me, but I understand not everyone will feel this way. |

I, for one, wasn't even alive during the NES era, and I was very poor during the GBA era. So this doesn't even apply to me. Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda are the only games on the current list I've ever even played, and the rest look fun. |

Well, yeah, there's no possible way that people haven't played the original Mario Bros, and most people have at least dabbled with the original Legend of Zelda. Ice Climbers and Balloon Fighter are much shorter games that are worth a look, but I'd argue against a purchase. Donkey Kong Junior is basically the opposite of Donkey Kong. You're Donkey Kong Jr, and you're climbing up to DK to save him. |

I like the whole idea honestly. I've only played 2 of the 5 announced GBA games and I grew up on the PS1. |

Full list of NES games -Super Mario Bros. -The Legend of Zelda. -Donkey Kong Jr. -Ice Climbers -Balloon Fight -Metroid -NES Open Tournament Golf -Wrecking Crew -Yoshi -Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link. I'm glad to see Metroid and Zelda 2 there. Yoshi looks like crap though. The rest seem fun though.
