I've noticed that the Legend of Zelda trailers and commercials seem to often be somewhat contradicting of the actual games. Sometimes the games are changed after an early trailer, sometimes it's just commercials pulling our legs... Sometimes they're good. Sometimes... Link's Awakening rap commercial An amusing but just as awful Japanese commercial Sometimes they're very accurate: Majora's Mask Japanese commercial and An equally creepy American one and yet again, A creepy E3 trailer (low quality, unfortunately) Btw, note the music there... Also used here and here Other Twilight Princess trailers: Trailer #2, Trailer #3 (there's a fourth one that I assume was released like a month before release, because it's nothing but gameplay, really; Note all of the cut content however) Also, perhaps a hint at Wind Waker cut content, or a hint at Twilight Princess? And then... there's the video that brought to you today's Wolfen Btw, I'm staying away from Skyward Sword trailers until the game comes out... No point hyping myself up over potentially cut content like I did with TP >_> (I wanna fight that bulblin army soooo badly ;A; ) edit: and I'm not even going near the ALttP dance commercial >_____>; Edited by WolfenAmphithere, Sep 24 2011, 04:33 AM.

Thank god they changed the Twilight Realm to colored rather than black & white... And I've always thought TP seemed more "epic" in the trailers, particularly the horseback segments. Here's another cool MM commercial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5Mf2mp6fms |

It's pretty crazy how much the game will change by the time it's actually released. I found some TWW videos that make the game look almost completely different, so at least now with SS we know that it's gonna be close to the actual product. I think we can all agree that we all hyped up TP so much, then was pretty let down once it came out. I feel your sentiments about it Mai, I'm definitely not get that excited about SS until it actually comes out. |

The first two trailers for TP made it look amazing. Then when I came out it left me with the feeling of, "This is what it turned into?" This was the one and only Zelda game that ever disappointed me. The hype wasn't all us, either. Nintendo did a damn good job fanning that flame. |

Agreed. The 3rd trailer was certainly intriguing, but I think at that point an "wtf alarm" was going off in the back of most of our heads, too...... |
