What's everyone thoughts on this? I haven't played much yet myself, but I want to hear everyone else's thoughts. I hear the Hero's Trial is supposed to be really really hard, even harder than the NES Zeldas. That's very impressive for modern Nintendo, let alone a free game. |

It's pretty fun. I'm playing alone since no one I know has a DSi/3DS, but I'm still enjoying it. I've always wanted to play this game and finally got a chance to. I unlocked Hero's Trial earlier and will try it out later. |

I think a lot of the difficulty probably stems from people playing it alone. There was one part in the Hero's Trial that kicked my ass, but if there were other people playing with me it would have been a lot easier. So I'd say it's not an actual challenge, rather just gimped gameplay due to an unnatural single player. The highlight of the game for me was the Link's Awakening level being colored green and white like the original GameBoy. That doesn't say a whole lot. |

I had a friend I played the original version with, it seemed rather short to me. I don't have a DSi or 3DS yet, so I can't comment on it now, however I liked how the teamwork aspects were. I only hoped that it would have Online, but without it...if you have no friends that have it/want to play it then it's not that amazing. I really wish Nintendo would start getting games Online. This new Kirby game for the Wii has the same issue...it seems like the perfect game for Online, and they won't add it. What's their problem with Online? I don't get it... They're pumping out games that would do amazingly with Online Multiplayer, and they don't add it. Edited by Polantaris, Oct 8 2011, 11:03 PM.

I know, I agree with everything you said. It really doesn't make sense, all I can think of is that Nintendo believes that online doesn't matter for some reason. The way the market is now though, online can be a very important feature for people that don't play multiplayer games locally. At least there's fun in single player, but it could be that much more enjoyable to play these games how they are meant to be played, with friends. |

Four Swords Adventures was a great game even without online and no friends to play with. It's pretty much impossible to get a game over, but puzzles were challenging and the levels were long. I'd love to find someone to play it with someday... |
