But Smash Bros. Brawl still doesn't. ![]() At least I'm all ready for Zelda next month. Guess that lens cleaning kit really does work. |

Congrats! Yeah I've heard the cleaner works wonders. I've had so many problems with my lens it's crazy, but at least in the newer models they've fixed that.

It just doesn't read the disc, like all the rest before I cleaned the lens tonight. I've heard this is a fairly regular problem with the Brawl discs, though. Luckily I didn't pay full price for it. I'm going to clean the Wii again tomorrow just to see what happens. |

Those problems usually arise from the dual-layering. Got any other dual-layered disks? Better hope SS isn't formatted that way if that is the problem

My Wii works fine(because I never use it) but I had issues with Brawl even when it was brand new. The disc just doesn't like to read sometimes. |

The only other duel layer Wii game is the Metroid Prime Trilogy, so no. I'll go full-on berserk if Skyward Sword doesn't read after using the lens cleaner. Like, "Tonight at 11" berserk. |

Just for the sake of checking, make sure it's not scratched. If it is, one of those CD recovery things might work. Those things are awesome too...only reason my copy of Suikoden II still works. |

My Brawl used to do that, but it would eventually work after I tried it about 5 times. And once it's working, I never had any problems while playing. Have you considered sending your Wii in for repairs? They do it for free if you send it with Brawl inside. I'm sure you would get it back before SS releases. |

I used to spend hours and hours sticking my Brawl disc in and ejecting. Just doing it over and over until it will finally read it! It's like a miracle when the loud "Quaaaaachiii!" sound goes off. I sent it in to Nintendo a few months later and they fixed it no questions asked. Edited by andaryu, Oct 20 2011, 01:53 PM.
