Hey, hey. Hey guys. I got a question. What sort of posture do you all use when you're playing this game? Sitting, standing? I hate all the motion controls but most of you seem to be okay with them so there might be a problem on my end. I did try standing already but it tired me out extra fast, so I'm really hoping that's not the answer... |

I haven't tried the game yet, but are you trying to aim the controller at the sensor bar? Because the game is entirely gyroscopic; you don't use the sensor bar. Basically, don't point at the screen unless you're doing something like a sword thrust. |

Hmmmmmmmmm. No sensor bar at all? I might actually test that. That may explain why it's such an effort to even maneuver through the menus. I've been trying to point at the center of the screen the whole time. (It's not a problem with the battery of the controller! I made sure to replace the batteries right before I started.) |

IIRC the sensor bar is only used for re-calibration. |

For God's sake. I thought it was annoying when Twilight Princess reminded me about the value of rupees every time I continued, but they managed to keep that idea and make it even worse this time. Why, WHY did they think we needed the menu opened up every damn time I pick up a bug or item after continuing? Is they placing SO important to this process that it must be drilled into our heads? How do they not realize that crap like this is annoying? How do these things make it into the final version of games!? |

That's really dumb... But at least you can probably keep the rupees this time, and not have to put 75% of them back since I hear there's a OVER 9000 rupee wallet... |

Fortunately yea. They manage money pretty well in this game. Not only do you have to make real decisions about what to buy (and what to take with you!), you never feel like you're wasting money due to an overstuffed wallet! Here's a tip for people new to the game: as soon as you get a projectile weapon, hit the bell on the airshop, go inside, and buy wallet expanders like there's no tomorrow. |

Yeah, that always was a concern in older Zelda games. You'd need money early in the game, and after you buy your Hylian Shield, unless you're going for sidequests, money is completely and utterly unnecessary. |

That and additional pockets so you can carry extra stuff. The inventory management is so realistic in SS, I love it. And rupees are quite useful, unlike TWW. @Glenear: I agree about the item thing. When you get an item for the first time, it's cool to see a description about it, but when you turn it off and come back, you shouldn't have to see that again for every bug you catch unless it's new. |

More like, unlike any other 3D Zelda game ever. |
