Am I the only one bothered by NES games on the eShop?

I understand the appeal of having NES games on the go, but they're games that are already on the Virtual Console. One of the things I really liked about the eShop was the release of GameBoy games that never saw the light of day on the VC. Now with NES games coming out it's brought the GB library to an off and on halt. Even before this there wasn't always a new GB title every week.

With every NES game uploaded they should also add a GB game to push everything along. Hell, there are still games that aren't on the VC yet that should be. Both shops are a lot slower than they should be in my opinion.

Although it is nice that GameGear games will be up soon. Too bad I was never a big GG fan and this will just slow down the GB games even more. The Sonic games alone will be a crowd-pleaser, but I already own them all on SADX and Gems together.

I'd personally like to see Aladdin, Jungle Book, and X-Men on there since I don't have my GG anymore to play them. All of which will probably never be up. Anyway, my opening post is almost steering off topic.

Back on track: I've had $15 on my 3DS since Christmas waiting for games like Donkey Kong Land that I'm fairly certain will be released eventually since the Country games were. I'm also waiting for the GBA games to start popping up. I'm sure there's a reason, but I still don't understand the wait. The NES games are just slowing things down more.

Yeah, it does seem pointless for the most part =/

We need GBA games. Screw the ambassador program.

NES games should all be free at this point. Nintendo shouldn't be allowed to wring any more dollars out of them.

Come on, guys! Enough is enough!

Kachou on!
Yeah, all the VC got this week was NES Punch-Out. I mean, really? Nintendo really needs a unified system like PSN. If you own it on Wii VC, you own it on 3DS VC. And why the hell are SMB and LoZ not 3D Classics, yet games like Excitebike and Xevious are? That makes no sense at all.

Bring out the Silent Hill Game Boy Color game that was only released in Japan (because it's a visual novel)! :-P

Actually, I'm happy about it >.> More variety is good imo

I certainly see no reason to complain about it.

I have a reason to complain. A very good reason.

...wait, no I don't. I just don't give a crap.

I agree and ordinarily I wouldn't have a problem with this, but like I mentioned the way Nintendo uploads their games it just take away from the handheld releases.

I agree with Catbread, at this point games like that should be free. I've already spent money on a large amount of NES VC over the years and just because its portable shouldn't justify releasing them again. It would be different if they were in 3D, but they are just ports and that's asking for way too much to pay for them AGAIN since they are already over 20 years old.

Give us GBC, GBA, and Gamegear games already, those haven't really seen any good VC releases. All we have for GBC is Link's Awakening DX. (and like Blaster Master or something) so much wasted potential.

Not really, but probably because I don't plan on owning a 3DS anytime soon. They'll probably have moved up to the GBA games when I start to care. XD But hey, one person may be bothered while others think of it as a good opportunity to knock on nostalgia's door and say hi?
