Nikki and Helen in church!; Forum member's story - Parallel Spirals

I've been a member since Feb 2014, and have checked the site most months (even if I've not posted). I put up a prose version of the first series of the show on here, in four parts. Here they are: part 1 part 2 part 3 part 4

I'm now about to launch my own work, which is in many ways, akin to the N/H story - a forbidden love between women due to their professional relationship. However, the stakes are higher - for the next world and the divine are involved in my story. It's the story of what makes someone different - unlike Nikki who already knows and is comfortable with herself.

Until 22nd Oct 2015, I have a campaign to help launch the first of a pair of novels.

Although it is never mentioned, Bad Girls had an important part in my writing as with my own genesis. One of the 'stories within a story within a story' was going to be a long running TV show, having the affect in characters' lives that Bad Girls had in mine.

However, it is not an autobiographical story. I can truly say that all characters, including the one who shares my name, are invented, though I can relate to some of their journey.

So if you're hungry for a new Helen/Nikki-like story, sans keys and camps, you might like to check this out, and any support on the campaign would be very appreciated. There's a sneak preview to the story and a pitch in my signature.

I thinking of putting a forum on Zetaboards when the book is published.

Sounds fascinating Elspeth R, very creative people on this forum. I reap the benefits as a reader when I get the time though I'm not really a writer myself.
