I guess we know what you'll be having for your Thanksgiving dinner then Jeanna - peregrine falcon with mousie stuffing? Ah well, at least it's not donkey! Perhaps you might even consider sending a few of your turkey-substitutes in this direction in time for Christmas - looks like we'll be needing them as they are culling turkeys by the truckload here because of the bird-flu! Oh - and the weather - that's lousy too - 7°C - hmmm, let's see - that's about 45°F to you Americans, although the rain has stopped for the moment. Hopefully all of you Americans will have an enjoyable Thanksgiving regardless of the weather! |

Weather forecast for the GTA (Southern Ontario) not sounding too great. Possibility of freezing rain late tonight and then 10-20 cm of snow. Getting to work tomorrow could be interesting. ekny - why did I think your weather was similar to ours? |

Yuk. About 3º last night, winds around 20mph, windchills around -15. Today's high will be about 15º. It wouldn't be so bad without the freakin wind. Did I mention: bleh? aj57--your weather still the same?! I hope not!

Currently -6C, after a low of -16C (-26 with windchill earlier). More snow on the way!!! Extreme low temperature alert for tonight. I thought your temps didn't sound too bad. But, then I realized you're talking in F

Yep, we're in the same ballpark then... currently -11C (sorry bout that!). Supposed to snow tomorrow, which means the temp should go 'up'. I can't believe I'm looking *forward* to that!! |

As a Brit poster, I can't believe I have been so neglectful of this weather thread- goes against the national stereotype. It's wierd here as we are having a premature spring where I am. Instead of cold and rain, the temperature is 53 and it is mild and sunny. I ought to disregard the sneaking thought that my social realist side can't help nagging with me and say 'well. that's the effect of global warming'- especially as last summer's downpours turned my small front lawn into a marshland that I had to walk round the edges of, same as winter. |

Expecting 5 inches...then some freezing rain. It is about 30 degrees F though. Going to take the doggie for a walk here soon. She loves it! If I am not skiing, I do not love it! |

75 degrees, raining heavily and goodly amount of thunder and lightning here in Houston Texas. So far it has been a very mild winter with many days of having to use the air conditioner. |

Sunny and up to 60 F in Nor Cal countryside....it's dark now but I can hear the frogs croakin' outside in the fields. Faked out by a teaser of spring they are. |
