Well, it's getting towards genuine autumn here, temps in the 30s at night, the usual. Daylight savings time kids. But the sneaky way I realllly wanted to bump the thread was by saying... This is how we tell the weather round here: The Republicans are discussing the space program. Again. This is how you know they're seriously rattled. Been doing the same thing since Spiro Agnew. --e |

I can't decide if our friends overseas are being typically stiff-upper-lip about not-posting news of your um, weather event or what. Sorry for the folks involved, of course, but geez: tornados in Wales & London? Not your everyday thing. I'd think this'd give people a weather-related topic to discuss for the next decade. Pretty bizarre. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england...don/6217514.stm |

Carly that must of been like living in the Flintstones era . Ningi Yabba Dabba Yes! I was going to bed at 8:00pm every night ( it's pitch black at 5:15 here). FYI, those goofy LED lights worn on the head are great for a power outage. The hand that would be holding the flashlight is now free to do stuff like break up fights between my two cats ![]() Carly |
