What's with the no dogs policy, my last dog would sleep in bed with me, it was hilarious, she would get under the covers and put her head on the next pillow.... imitating me. I truly think she thought she was a person.

oh god, they're so convincing too. Mine does that whole No-one-loves-me-I'm-starving-why-doesn't-someone-help-did-I-mention- how-small-and-pathetic-I-am thing any time I want to talk on the phone in peace & quiet without her trying to chew the cord.

Then she won't do spoons with me as revenge. It works, the guilt is amazing.

Uhm, just wondering: are you talking about your gf or your cat here, ekny? :)

I know I'm way late to this thread... in honesty I haven't really explored the non-fanfic areas of the board before...
When my cat was a kitten, he used to like getting into my bed. I'd spend the whole night rigid, terrified of squishing him.
But that was a dozen years ago in a town I lived in two towns before this one.
Generally, I tend to sleep with a spare pillow in bed with me and a 7-inch-tall dinosaur named Rex next to my pillow.
The pillow because of my back problems, the dinosaur because it was a gift from someone I loved.
Sad.
Thought I'd share as so many others had done so, and I feel like this is a community that doesn't judge :-)
