Brilliant notion abzug. Far more thoughtful than the ring obsessed lunacy I've read elsewhere. Beginning to like it - which is saying alot given me and legal sanctions of personal relationships. ![]() Then the threshold crossing will be one of the time/space continuum. I can see them leaning in for the long awaited smooch ... lesbians across the land are leaning into their viewing screens and breathing heavily ... the screen fades to black ... at it's five years later at a pizza parlor in peapack. |

I eyes ya solita. I eyes ya. Just got through flipping through the accumulated pics from the last days shoot in Peapack and I am swearing off the crack for good now. I can see why the producers would go with a fast forward ending. Afterall all, a soap town continues on in memory long after the program ends, so it's a nice shout out to the long time viewers that *all* their stories will continue. And much as it is painful to contemplate for those "shot gun" conformity with the middle class american sensibility reasons, Otalia in the FoL with children and integrated into Springfield is where the storyline was always supposed to go. In fact, not having to watch that was one of the reasons I was cheered at the thought of a finite ending to the tale. Not just the redemption but the taming of OFS has certainly been a theme all along - sad to say. Still, the end of something, rather than the "ending" is always sad and I'm sure we'll sink into "post production let down" |

Beautifully put cagey. I feel the same about the crack. Now I can just watch. One thing though, the thought of it makes me sad. |

More photos, and these are pretty spracky, more so than others we've seen, so consider that before you click. http://twitpic.com/photos/PSUbrat Personally, I don't know if I can swear off the sprack. I'll have to see how I feel once Nat is back. Right now I've been too agitated by the lack of Otalia action that I absolutely can't resist whatever information is out there. But perhaps now I have enough? |

In love with a prisoner

Ridiculous amount of detail from Soap Opera Source about what's happening next week when Nat returns. I sort of wish I hadn't read it, but I also couldn't stop myself. What can I say, I'm weak? But it does explain why Liv didn't tell Josh about Nat--she gets one more ride on that train.... http://www.soapoperasource.com/gl/spoilers...-august-17.html Natalia returns to Springfield and encounters Father Ray. She tells him she knows what she wants and it's what God wants her to do. Natalia tells Blake, Springfield is her home and she knows it's where she wants to be. Father Ray asks Olivia if she has run into Natalia. Olivia tells him she has moved on from Natalia and is putting her life back together. Olivia takes Emma to the playground and encounters Natalia. Natalia apologizes to Olivia and tells her, she has been in her thoughts every day since she left. Olivia is shocked to find out Natalia is pregnant. Natalia admits the father of her baby is Frank. Natalia tells Olivia she is happy being pregnant and wants to be with her. Olivia pulls Emma away from Natalia when Emma is happy to see Natalia back. Natalia and Olivia share an emotional confrontation as to why Natalia left town. Olivia walks away from her and goes to see Josh, while Natalia encounters Frank. She admits to him, he is the father of her baby. Frank tells her, he will be there for her and the baby. Natalia informs him, she wants to raise the baby with both him and Olivia. In the middle of making love, Olivia admits to Josh, she is in love with Natalia. Josh doesn't want to get involved and Olivia leaves. She later runs into Frank and tells him to fight for what he wants, if it's Natalia and the baby. Natalia tells Rafe he's going to be a big brother, but he wonders if Frank is really the child's father. Natalia defends the choices she's made when Rafe insists she marry Frank. Rafe, later, confronts Olivia about her and his mom. Frank and Natalia go to tell his family the good news. Natalia daydreams about Olivia and the good times they shared, across town, Olivia remembers the time she has spent with Natalia. |

Man, I've been a Nat-defender for a while, but reading this article makes me kinda hate her. I mean, her naivite (sp?) borders on callous, and it's hard for me to imagine how she could be so dense about how Olivia would have experienced her abandonment. Does she know Olivia at all?

Okay that's all just sick and twisted. I'm so not reading any more of this stuff. It's like some sordid rehash of bit and pieces from the cutting room floor. Plus it doesn't do much for my insisting Olivia is not doing the Josh any more. But given the consternation over Rafe, I had to toss in that comment I read on twop about the cheer going up when Rafe appears in army fatigues. |

I may be the only one still addicted to the sprack, but since I can't be alone in my addiction, I'll continue to be the neighborhood sprack pusher:![]() I like the "and vows to prove it" part. That's something I want to see! But man, this Nat's-a-naive-idiot thing is going to drag out an entire WEEK! Blech. Not fun for the first week back. It's making me long for the cheek caresseses in the hallways of the Beacon, and the bench scooches in the park. Why oh why did I ruin those lovely weeks with fretting about when they were going to kiss? This is so much worse. |

The spoilers - the spoilers - - so often not true except when they are. What really took me over the edge were the twitpics. I can handle conflicting spoilers or ones that just sound inane, but the pictures finally began to ruin it for me. Okay so that first pic with the blackberry and the arm across the shoulder and the great angle of repose is currently my work computer wallpaper. That made me happy. The rest of them did not. And I have to agree this version of next week is less offensive than the earlier one. And now I am done here. Really. Don't you be tempting me abzug. I eyes you too. :ph43r: Unless anyone cares to discuss why candid unofficial pics from the set are more disturbing than mere spoilers. It's like fact bumping up in one's face. Except you don't completely know the facts. |

I've not got official word from two folks that they aren't reading this thread, so I'm risking shouting to the wind, but here are the weekly spoilers: Monday 8/17 Natalia comes back to Springfield; Vanessa is taken to her wedding Tuesday 8/18 Edmund shoots Jonathan; Natalia is confronted; Reva has a picnic Wednesday 8/19 Natalia has big news for Frank; Reva is devastated Thursday 8/20 Reva gets an unexpected visitor; Phillip makes a decision Friday 8/21 Shayne gets suspicious of Jonathan; things heat up between Cyrus and Mel; Vanessa and Billy go on a date. Even though it's not mentioned, we know Nat speaks with Rafe this week as well, so perhaps that happens Thursday and our girls are on four episodes? God I hope so. Detailed description of Monday's ep: Vanessa explains to Blake that she's been trying to get both WSPR and her life back on track since Dinah left. Billy asks Father Ray to perform the wedding ceremony to Vanessa that day. Billy invites Bill and Lizzie to his surprise wedding with Vanessa and reveals to them that she hasn't said yes yet. Billy describes his surprise wedding plan, then heads off to see where Vanessa is. Billy calls Vanessa, but she informs him she's swamped at work and won't be going anywhere. Billy asks Josh to be his best man at his surprise wedding while Bill tries to convince Vanessa to get lunch. Father Ray arrives, ready to do a wedding. Lizzie covers and says that Billy and Vanessa might be on their way now. Josh and Billy move into action and kidnap Vanessa. Vanessa stops Billy and says she can't have a surprise wedding, but she's not saying no either. Billy invites her on a dinner date instead. Reva realizes she locked her keys in the car. Reva calls Josh and asks him to help her get her keys. Reva goes home and realizes her sink is broken. Blake gives Reva the number to her plumber. When she writes the plummer a check, she realizes it's her one year wedding anniversary. Otalia... Olivia apologizes to Blake for being rude the other day. Meanwhile, Natalia arrives back in Springfield. Natalia explains to Father Ray that she knows what she wants now and it's what God wants for her too. Father Ray asks Olivia if she's heard from Natalia. Olivia says she's moving on from Natalia and is putting her life back together. Olivia picks Emma up and is happy she's home. Olivia and Emma go to the playground. Natalia looks all over for Olivia, but can't find her. As she's driving, she spots Olivia with Emma. Olivia freezes when she hears Natalia's voice. The two women finally come face to face. Natalia apologizes for worrying Olivia and says she thought about her every day. Natalia steps out from behind the car and informs Olivia she's pregnant.
Because the spoilers are controlled, so they're telling us what they want us to know about the story in a structured way. The candid pics, on the other hand, are completely unstructured. We don't know how much they've captured, whether a fan has taken photos every five seconds of filming a scene, or just a snap shot at the beginning or end, how they framed the shot, etc. We then start looking at costumes, trying to piece things together based on who is in the shot, which scenes might occur on the same day etc etc. It's like the spoilers are baking a cake from a mix, and the candid photos are baking a cake from scratch when we're not sure if we have all the ingredients (or if we're indeed baking from scratch or a mix). So, in sum, there are too many unknowns, and that is stressful. :-) |

Thanks for commenting on this abzug. First off, I don't think the "spoilers" are all that controlled. One could research this, cross reference, see what leaks when from whom and why (Another PhD Topic!, in case, you, like I, carry a running list.) They come in multiples, are often misleading, and usually cause the crowd to say afterwards: a) it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be or where was the scene when Olivia calls Ava, for example. There is such freewheeling now with the internet that the soap mags - who obviously are amping up the fans, as your 2 mags show, from different angles - don't control the market anymore. Which apparently they did in the 1970s. These soap sages who seem to know something are certainly being fed something but are also feeding off of each other. There is a limited amount of official info out there, and the rest is - shall we say, gossip.Enter the message board. And the cellphone camera and high speed transit to a poor Soap with no ability to close set. We absolutely don't know when a picture is taken -- if it is on set or not. That comment about some kid not being a SORASED Henry was priceless for that. But what twicks me about this is the endless "is she wearing a ring" "is that Baby Ivy or an actor baby" ooh maybe it we enhance it enough we can find out. OK, it's a sport. Like mystery murder dinner theatre. But it begins to ruin the story for me.:( But I'm still enough of a junkie to talk about what really might happen on Monday. |

According to Frank Dicopoulos 16 Aug 09 TV interview the flash forward is going to be 1 year into the future. http://wcbstv.com/video/?id=131491@wcbs.dayport.com Could these pix be part of the flash forward??? .. On bench Olivia, Natalia holding their daughter with big sister Emma and Aunty Doris and Aunty Blake This could explain the rings Nat & Liv are wearing.![]() Rafe now in the Army (wearing combat fatigues) with his two mommies and sisters HA! Would be nice to think the brat is doing something constuctive with his life ![]() Will be interesting to see how the 1 year flash forward plays out. Apparently all is happy and shows the various families together according to Frank. |
