The ghost of Larkhall!
|
Michelle is a Bauer, Ed's daughter and Dr. Rick's little sister. I can't remember which wife of Ed's was Michelle's mom. Danny is Danny Santos, Father Ray's cousin. Danny was part of the mob and a real bad boy that Michelle fell in love with. They were a hot couple in their time -- forbidden love, lots of obstacles and all that. Oh, and Danny was involved with Marina at one point too. |

In love with a prisoner

Monday's Episode Description: Jeffrey's funeral is still on hold after Reva's emotional explosion. Matt realizes Dinah is about to admit the truth to Shayne so he interrupts her. Matt tells Dinah that she needs to live her life and confessing isn't going to change anything. Josh announces to the group that Reva won't be coming back. Olivia admits to Phillip that Natalia's silence is starting to affect everything in her life. Shayne tells Dinah to marry him so they can give Reva something to be happy about. Reva is walking toward the house when she suddenly hears Jeffrey's voice and is filled with memories of her last moments with Jeffrey. Reva collapses in the middle of the driveway. Phillip runs toward Reva, worried that she's hurt. Reva tells Phillip about the last time she saw Jeffrey. Reva slowly walks in the house, picks up Jeffrey's guitar, and asks Jeffrey what he was thinking. Suddenly, a figure appears, struggles along the jungle floor, then collapses... it's Jeffrey: ALIVE. Shayne tells Dinah that he wants to marry her as soon as possible. They begin to make love. Marina tells Mallet she's sad because they're losing what they have. Marina senses that Mallet doesn't trust her and asks if he still loves her. Mallet says he'll always love her. Marina tells Mallet that they have too much to lose to let it all go without a fight. Olivia admits to Ava that she and Natalia fell in love. Olivia explains that Natalia left because it was too much for her. Ava is happy that Olivia has found someone to love and believes that Natalia loves her just as much in return. (Oh, and the scene where Olivia was supposed to call Nat about Jeffrey's funeral was cut.) |

Yeah, I had the same thought when I read it. That this is what she hopes for Otalia, not what's (so far) actually going to happen. She must have seen the scripts for everything right up until the end, or close to it. So no kiss is in it? I can't believe it wouldn't be a happy ending for these two though, even if they don't kiss (which is so fucking ridiculous, but we all know that, so what's the point in ranting about it). |

I don't know how spoilery this column is, but it has a lot of good GL stuff, particularly the actress who plays Holly tellin' it like it is about the new production model and lack of Otalia kissage. http://tvguide.sympatico.msn.ca/The+Soapge...t_NB.htm?isfa=1 |

I heard the worst spoiler ever. It's, as the TWoP folks would say, radioactive. Supposedly they are filming a wedding between Natalia and Frank, with Father Ray officiating. If this is true, if they're filming it now, like two weeks before they're done filming the show, then we're basically going to have Otalia agony right up until the very end, when hopefully they will get together. The whole thing makes me sick. I hope it's just an evil awful rumor. No idea how reliable the source is, and it's only one source, not verified elsewhere. I know posting this will induce hysteria in this thread which will spill over into the other thread, and poor ekny will know something's up, but I can't sit with this by myself. |

Oh that's just nasty. What is the source? Is it over at Twop - cause they seemed rather calm today. Wipe it from your mind. I know I will. And here I was gonna get all happy cause Nat seems to be back on the 7th. I am in my happy place of Liv and Nat moving to San Francisco to be with Ava, who rightly pointed out there was no reason to be in Springfield anymore, and I am staying there. |

Exact same words I would pick, cagey. Oh that is nasty. That's enough to make anyone go back to work. ByeActually, that's making me nauseous. |

It wasn't from TWoP; it wasn't from a public source. My feeling is, if that's the direction they're going, then it's not worth getting upset about, because the show/storyline isn't worth it. And I'll be back to my belief that soaps are so influenced by commercial interests that they can't have any narrative integrity. And if it isn't the direction they're going, then PHEW! But if they are, you heard it here first.

In all honesty, I had a waking dream the other night in which they replay the whole non-wedding sequence. It could be done. They could have Olivia do her Dustin Hoffman, now that she's done her Brando -- and pound on the church windows crying Natalia! Natalia! Nat could do her race down the aisle and they could get the next bus to California. Jane would have already put Emma in the last seat of the bus. Then today I was wondering about all those lesbian commandos who are stalking Peapack - I realize GL hasn't time or money to shoot massive amounts of excess footage, but they clearly shoot more than they need, so why not shoot some diversionary stuff? I remain convinced that the general "happy ending" spoiler is the correct one. You are so right, abzug, that the story line/show isn't worth getting upset about. I don't think it has significantly changed from it's original outline, but the way the lesbian community managed to turn it into a heaving, breathing lesbian saga is a masterwork of collective creativity. Some of those fanvids alone have been worth it. |

It makes a sad statement on our absolute starvation for lesbians on screen. I mean, what are our other options? "House"? "Grey's Anatomy"? Those aren't about lesbians. Those are about girls (occasionally) kissing. When was the last time there was ANY storyline on daytime or primetime which felt emotionally authentic? I mean, there is nothin'. And certainly nothing with an actor of CC's caliber (and sexiness). So I don't think what we've made of this storyline is so much a sign of group delusion as it is of taking what we can get. I am so starting a BG marathon after this is all over. I'll need it to detox. |

![]() So are we! I had a small Viewing Party back in December who watched S1 and then got busy with Life. (I mean, really!) but just recently they've come crawling back expressing interest in S2. I had already decided immersion therapy was the only restorative. |
