Oh joy, more high finance financing for web series: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=320462201245 ebay was more fun when you could track the bidders. What's with outscouring the seller to a registered canadian "Outviewmag"? |

<blink> $9,500 for a signed script? I assume you are not embittered bidder listed as "s***a". That lock of Elvis' hair went for a mere $18,300 -- and that has some re-sale value. |

I thought this auction was for charity - breast cancer? Overall, I enjoyed Episode 2. I mean, yeah I think the writing should have at least explained who Guya was! And how hard would that have been? Michele: Before you hit that call list - your aunt Guya called and said she had a reading this afternoon - so she'll meet you for drinks later. Gina (bemused): I really cannot believe all those rich women buying into her psychic shit. anyway, get French dude on the phone. The one who isn't a fucktard. And scene. I liked the stuff with TS and HBS - it was funny. No doubt stupid and it all felt like filler - but still I was amused. I look forward to next week. |

Didn't remember to check in until a few hours ago. Erm. Whoops? (honestly? I assumed server outages & then just forgot. Looks like it'll be Tuesday before I'm able to view/comment: dial-up.) ...the associated phenomenon around this show continue to be as/more interesting than the show: $9500?? Wherefrom these rich dykes? I gotta get me some of that. <shakes head> Jeez louise. Recession-schmession, I guess. |

How do you know it was a dyke let alone a rich one? Let's see, $9500 is how many pink panties? Besides I'm hoping that molsongrrrl is right. Charity sounds good. What's this rumor about new editors? That ex GL woman was a producer not an editor. Damn, no fun not have computer use to follow along with all the goings on, let alone the show. molsongrrrl, I like your script. You should send it in, or maybe we all can re-edit from posted material with new dubbed dialog. he he. |

Well, I'm not on twitter, so I only hear these things 10th hand, but Hope isn't the editor anymore, either because she wasn't good at it, or was too slow, or something else. So now all she's doing is the web stuff (which she's obviously stellar at), and they've hired this GL person to edit the episodes, and supposably she's already on episode 9, so she's clearly speedy. Speedy isn't necessarily good, though. Who knows. Too much behind the scenes drama for me, honestly. With this fan base, with the production etc. I'd rather not know and just watch and be entertained, or not, as the case may be. |

Bits and pieces ... The auction was for the American Cancer Society via a soap actors charity platform. But still, one suspects that $9,500 is not just a desire to give to the cause.
Quick: Maria Macina (who wisely, if it is her, keeps her Twitter private) directed one ep of GL, which aired on 23 July 2009. What happened on that ep? Other than that, she worked in the Producer capacity on GL. Says here she has "given notes" on "edit, music and audio". Given that Hope seemed to be saddled with every other job besides Front Spokesperson and Writer, one would think all involved are relieved that there is more help on board.
How right you are. We are watching Something happening. Too bad no one know what that Something is. Years from now you could be telling your 20 cats about what it was like back in the day when Something Happened. |

ITA. I am so with you on this. In my line of work I'm subjected to way too much BTS etc...I just want to see/hear/watch/now what the show is, what the movie is. I mean how many versions of a tv/web/movie show should there be? Am I being old fashioned and inflexible because I think there should be A version of a show? If they wanted too, the Venice TPTB V3 could always change the web series to just behind the scenes stuff and have a hit bec of all the fans. Just sayin. |

Good heavens. Was... was that YOU, Solita, being... *snarky*?! My word. Look what they've driven her to! Dammit, we should take action, this cannot stand. hee Sorrah, just funnin ya. Had to be done. As for multiple versions... if you're running a straight TV show, people expect extras when they buy DVDs. Reasonable. Maybe the flip side is a show with no extras at all (say, oh: GL?) where "canon" is indigestible. Would be curious to hear what others think, it's a very interesting question! (to me anyways: ie every viewer of a *finished* product makes up their own mind about what constitutes 'canon', in some ways. But to have the process include so many variations people are sort of writing it themselves: as a deliberate concept--that could be really cool. Here it's just kinda... uh. Hard to watch? she finished, politely.) Since they've ditched HR for editing it's possible we'll see some more competent assembly of the pieces, in weeks to come. The problem seems to be KT wrote it as a 'movie'--which is fine--but no one checked for uh, whatcha call yer continuity, when chopping it into segments. Which would be cute & instructional if this was a college project. |

?? Why wouldn't I like hearing it? I assume you mean: reduction. Which is the owner's business. Unless... hm: it's possible you meant she'd had them augmented some years back & it's only now come to light, in which case that would indeed explain why they looked disproportionate, & why the very early swimsuit-top-removal scene was so startling in comparison, unless childbirth alone accounted for all that extra.Off to read. ETA: Well hell--BOTH! Blinks. The reduction totally makes sense. Most of the women I've met who've had it done are older, & have been very, very happy about it: no more back problems, etc. (Am trying to remember if I was indiscreet enough to wonder abt this aloud on the GL thread; I think it was in emails, back then, that we batted it around a bit! Since it's now Officially News, however, I'm glad you linked so we could clear up this burning question. Smirk.)

And here I was thinking it was the better wardrobe department on DAYS. Seriously, I kept wondering why GL had such a problem with their inability to work around her assets. |

So it comes out, you're watching DAYS. Busted....so to speak. he he. That soap writer, Nelson, just can't get enough of Ms Chappell can he? Makes me feel ok about the continued old lady crush I habor. Boob job, reverse boob job. No more "here comes the girls." Meanwhile, it's been failed to mention that Venice the Series Epi 3 will stream Wednesday night, Dec. 30th. I still haven't gotten a good look at epi 2 yet, but dang, did they have to use a live set with marble floors for the HBS and TS scene....you can always add reverb, but you can never take it away, hence that ring of reverb emptiness at the head of their scene before they sit down on the couch. There must be a rug there because the reverb is dampened only to be replaced by mike bumps. Don't mind me. I still say, keep it coming V3. Speaking of which, help me out with the source for the information that Hopey is no longer editing and MM is on epi 9 (guess that means you, abzug)....I like to follow along but being removed from internet access on any regular basis has interfered with my twitter stalking. |
