We have been attempting to reform our government in an effort to increase activity, but the new constitution doesn't appear to be passing. Where that leaves us, I have yet to find out. Also, we have a new WA Delegate, Uropa, and an election for the inactive 0079's FRA representativeship is on Saturday, with myself currently being the only candidate. |

Is the constitution not passing due to inactivity or is there some sticking point? |

The proposed constitution did not pass because half of the region did not want the executive and judiciary merged. It has now been proposed, by one of opponents of the failed constitution, that we elect a dictator, joining the executive, judiciary, and the legislature. This new office would be established with a constitutional amendment suspending our governing document until there is a vote otherwise. I was not elected to the FRA representativeship; I had tied with the inactive 0079, thereby causing the incumbent to remain in office. A new election has been initiated and I was nominated as the only candidate after the original challenger conceded. Also, presidential nominations have opened with no nominations. The probable cause of this being the assumption that the office will be suspended. |
