Few Things Are As Moving As Being In Love; by Laura Doyle

FEW THINGS ARE AS MOVING AS BEING IN LOVE

My friend Marilyn decided to use the principles of surrendering to
attract a man who was right for her, and it worked-we all had a great
time at their wedding last year, and she and her husband couldn't be
happier. But at breakfast recently, I couldn't resist teasing Marilyn
about how controlling she had been before she surrendered. For
instance, one of the "reasons" she had been refusing dates was that
she liked living in her exclusive suburban neighborhood and feared
having to leave if she wasn't careful about whom she dated. I argued
that the real reason she was refusing so many dates was that she was
afraid to risk her heart. Marilyn saw my point and decided to be more
open about accepting dates.

If you're guessing that her new attitude helped her meet a man who
lived right in the same neighborhood and she didn't have to move-
guess again. Instead, she met the perfect man for her on a vacation,
and shortly thereafter she moved two hours away to his rural
neighborhood. And guess what? She loves where she lives. Most of all,
she loves being with her new husband.

You may also be afraid to lose something by investing in romance, but
don't let that hold you back. Like Marilyn, you will find that few
things are as "moving" as being with the man who's right for you.
