I would prefer the server to be GMS-like, because it poses more of a challenge for players and would be more 'training-intensive', which is what most or a majority of players look for.

as long as a server is coded nicely then the noobs would stay
plus gms-like gives you more things to do such as quests and hunting for stuff while all these msi/rebirths would just require you to hold down a key and watch zak die = no fun

Exactly what he said. Good GMS-likes servers come by so rarely, people would take the chance and try all of them out.

Yeah, that's what we're aiming for.
Rebirths would be extremely hard though :P
