The Rock Palace still stood as it came to the coast of the small island. Devlin stepped out on deck to what could have been a good day. His crew was not large but, between him and Randy, they where in line well. He cared for his crew, and he was proud of this ship. It was his, his rock palace. He was so happy to finally have it. Everything was looking great. This was it; this was his home. Things looked good.

Devlin took a few steps out onto the deck looking to find Randy. They had to talk business today, as they had to do something while on this small island. Devlin didn't plan to stay in a useless place for too long. He might as well make some money while he was here. He did however want to get Randy to help him, she was kinda like his partner in a way and definitely his best friend. She was a great help, and although she was a total pain in the ass, she was still the one he trusted the most.

Devlin wore his normal white coat and leather jumpsuit not bothering to change really. He didn't even have his sword on him, leaving it in the boat. There was no reason for it, unless he was surprise attacked by ninja, and the likeliness of that happening where very slim. His long silver hair was blowing gently in the wind on the deck as he moved.

Devlin yawned wide as he did scratching his butt a little with his metallic hand. The sun was just starting to set now. They had gotten here a little late to do anything today, but it was still something they needed to talk about. Devlin looked around lazily for Randy his green eyes scanning the area. That damn woman was never where he wanted her. She was really a pain in his butt sometimes.

He looked out to the island with a smirk. Just out of the blue looking over because his attention span was so small. He lifted his right hand up so in his eyes it looked like his hand was covering the small town. He closed his fist and smirked saying in a slight whisper as he did.

"Gottcha..."

He laughed a little before sighing again.

"Where the hell is that woman..."

"What's the point..."

Randy hated when here mind was puddled by trivial things but right now it seemed like she couldn't help it. The hole inside of her gut was beginning to get heavy and it was hard for her to take, she was losing it. Shaking her head roughly, she drug herself back down to reality. Her clouded thoughts were nearly impenetrable to ideas other than confusion only once in a great while and she was hoping she could control her mind for a mere moment to straighten things out.

Her eyes stared blankly forward at the HRH flag sprawled across her bed. It was the original design for the new Rock Opera's flag. This was the first one that she drew up before presenting it to the rest of the crew. Water dripped down from her face as she stared. Her hair was wet, from what she wasn't sure, it was probably from sweating or swimming or running or sleeping or thinking or something redundant like that. She whipped the liquid from her brow with her forearm before reaching down with her left hand and grabbing the flag at it's center and pulling it to her chest. Tears started to flow from her eyes. She didn't know why and she hardly felt like she knew what was going on. She shook her head again and laughed lightly.

"Sheesh, am I really going crazy?"

She turned around and shoved the door to her cabin open and walked out on deck. She had the flag still in her hand, letting it drag lightly behind her. Her attire was simple: She wore an exercise top and tight shorts. On her hands she had training gloves and her feet adorned simple shoes. On her back she carried a sizable bag. She couldn't say what was within as she didn't quite remember packing it but one could probably assume it was full of clothes or something stupid like that. Her hair was down but clearly a mangled and wet mess. Her eyes settled on Devlin's back as he stood in the middle of the deck. she knew what she had to do as she slowly walked up behind him. Placing her free hand on his shoulder, she closed her eyes and sighed.

"Dev...Branden....we need to talk..."

It seemed like her thoughts trailed off as she let go of his shoulder and turned away from him, taking a few steps forward. Her voice was soft and seemed lost. Almost as if it was changed, like it wasn't really Randy. Her eyes traced the deck as she waited for him to acknowledge her.

"Randy! Just who I was looking for what-"

Devlin stopped as he turned to see not the cheery excited Randy he was used to, but a new mangled mess that was the Randy of now. Devlin was a bit confused, he knew Randy was having problems but this seemed a bit weird. He wondered if she was going to be alright and tried to think of something quickly to cheer her up but couldn't do much. He thought maybe if Jimmy was within ear shot he could get her to make some hot coco for her or something, but he wasn't and that idea went out the window, metaphorically speaking of course.

Devlin took a step forward to her lifting his hand slightly not sure what to do as he continued talking from his last outburst. However, he was much more serious this time and didn't seem as cheery himself now that he was filled with a concern for Randy's well being.

"Whats wrong...."

Devlin looked a lot more serious as he asked the question. His gut had a strange and horrible feeling as he thought about what was wrong. He wanted to help but as of yet he had no clue what was really wrong. He had to find out before he confused himself or put himself in any kind of a major panic yet.

As Devlin began to approach her she made her way farther from him. An odd instinct inside her gut to throw everything to the floor and run away started to build up but she suppressed it. She had no idea why she should run but she just didn't want to be here. Randy's mind started to race, she wasn't thinking straight anymore. She brought a hand up to her forehead, whipping it lightly then holding her temple. She shook her head again before spinning around to face Devlin.

"I have to leave."

Her voice was stern, her eyes were blank, her words were empty. She offered no pity, no remorse, and no explanation. Her body didn't move, her stance was still, it didn't even seem like the wind affected her save for the HRH flag in her hand. It seemed as if she didn't know what she was doing but at the same time all too sure of what everyone else was doing.

Her mind was twisting and her thoughts were thinking of something, nothing, everything, all things; it didn't matter. Her hands clenched into fists and her arms started to shake. Her ideas began swirling around everything that's happened to her, her life seemingly flashing before her eyes. She was mad, happy, excited, sad, everything and nothing all at the same time. Her eyes began to tear up as she began repeating herself.

"I have to go. Now."

Devlin felt kind of like he had just been punched in the gut. He didn't understand and her actions left no ways for him to. He didn't want to just let her go like this however, he had to do something to help her yet. She was just confused he wasn't going to let her get away without help. Maybe he could get her to the infirmary, get her some help.

"No, come with me Randy, your not well, lets get you to the infirmary, common Randy."

Devlin moved closer to take a hold of her and try and help her. He didn't even want her to walk by herself he didn't know what she would so. He would take her back in kicking and screaming if he had too but he had to get her help. She wasn't going off on her own. Not like this.

Devlin wasn't about to lose a friend just because in a time of need she said she wanted to leave. No Devlin was going to make sure she stayed here and was safe. Right now he doubted she could do anything like that on her own. He didn't know how long she would survive if that where to happen. He tried to take her hand in his to lead her down to the infirmary where Jack and the Bear awaited and could help.

(sory its small didn't know much to do)

Devlin's kind will and actions struck an angry chord within Randy. she twitched as if a nerve deep inside of her was pinched.

"Don't be kind, there's no point. Everyone will turn on you. THERE'S NO MORE GOOD IN THE WORLD DEVLIN!!" She pointed a finger toward Devlin as he walked closer. "Don't you ****ing touch me! I'll be damned if I'm to be babied by you!"

Her words were harsh. She seemed to be thinking more clearly and acting as such but it wasn't in a good way. Her old extreme-ness was building back up but through a bad filter. Her words and actions were so different from her norm that one could almost think she was joking. Randy stomped a foot down firm on the boat.

"I'm done with this crew. You said when I joined that there was no need to stay. We aren't really a 'crew', just a gentle gathering of Bounty Hunters. Screw comradery!"

With those words she reached up her hands, placing both hands on the center of the HRH flag. As quickly as she raised them, she fiercely pulled them down and apart causing the large sheet of fabric to rip and shatter in the air in front of her. Her face showed no emotion but her eyes were filled with an uncharacteristic rage.

"Don't make me leave through you..."

Devlin's eyes widened as he watched the flag rip. His body shook with a rage that was uncharacteristic for him as well. Something about watching -his- flag, -his- pride and joy be destroyed filled him with such a great anger that what he would do next he didn't at all mean. He might even regret, but he was going to stop Randy. He knew what he had to do.

Devlin clenched his right fist hard the sound of the metal grinding could be heard. He quickly without warning pulled his fist back and went to punch Randy in the face. He wanted to just stop her, bring her to her senses, get her to stop. He didn't know what this anger was but he was not going to lose his crew, or his crew member to it. He was to strong for that. He was their captain because it was his job to protect them.

Devlin punched forward at her his blood boiling at the what Randy had done. He had no intention of letting her leave. He spoke his voice was cold.

"You want to leave, you go though me Randy"

Randy knew what she had to do now. Her face was emotionless and her movements were uncharacteristically stern instead of her fluid like combat motions. As Devlin reared back, she didn't smirk, she didn't laugh, she didn't twitch, she hardly did anything besides for act. As Devlin attacked, Randy moved forward at full speed. Instead of going about it strategically, all Randy did was move her head to her right so that his punch didn't hit her in the face.

Devlin's fist brushed the side of her face and rode down her shoulder and neck. By the time Devlin's punch had fully extended, Randy would be right in his face. As she got into his face, she didn't punch, she didn't kick, nor did she hardly tense at all. All she did was continue forward, ramming her face into Devlin's.

Randy's motions were stiff but these did not belie her speed. Her left cheek was bleeding and her shoulder would have some wicked brush burn later. None of that mattered to her right now. All that mattered was getting away. Away from here, away from Devlin, away from people, away from anything, everything, nothing; it didn't matter, she just wanted out.

Devlin's eyes widened again at Randy's total lack of anything really. He moved in for an attack, when Devlin remembered just how fast Randy could be. He didn't have much time to react but he had to do something so he didn't take so much damage from the attack, and so he could react right away when he was.

Devlin pushed his head forward to. If not to head butt because of lack of time at least enough to take the blow as well. Devlin with his arm so close to her now reached down and grabbed her by the back. His metal hand gripping into her skin. Had he manged this grab he would pull her from him and with a spin toss her full force at the mass.

Devlin turned his head and spit some blood from a cut in his lip. He had to finish this quick, stop Randy and get her help. Something inside of him didn't feel right about this however. He didn't even feel good about tossing her. He felt mad at himself. She might have been acting weird but his job was to protect her and his crew. He had to keep thinking he was doing the right thing.

As Randy and Devlin butted heads a trickle of blood began to filter down Randy's face. Some blood managed to make it's way into her right eye, but she did not blink or even flinch. It seemed almost as if something else had taken over her body. As if some terrible horror had interrupted her soul and even if Devlin managed to stop her she still may never be the same.

As Devlin's hand wrapped around her back, she paid it no mind. Devlin may be surprised when instead of grabbing Randy, he would find himself wrestling with the large pack on Randy's back. Randy--not missing a beat--quickly shifted her body under Dev's arm. With a quick and strong motion, Randy stomped on the back of Dev's right leg with her right foot, and at the same time, moved her right palm up to Dev's face.

If all went as planned and Devlin was content with Randy's backpack, Randy would then force the off balance Devlin down onto the back of his head. With both their strengths and his weight, he may just go through the deck.

Devlin tossed her backpack off into the ocean as he realized what he had grabbed. Had his hand been flesh he might have been able to feel that it was not flesh he had grabbed but he couldn't. Devlin didn't have much of a choose against Randy's assault against him. He braced himself as much as he could as she forced him down hard into the ground, his weight and her strength causing the wood to break easily. Devlin's eye went white for a second and he coughed up some blood as he broke though the deck to the floor below.

He lay on the floor looking up. This wasn't it, this wasn't over. He wasn't going to let this end like this. His metal hand dug into the wood on the floor as he squeezed his fist shut crushing away what wood was in his palm. He flipped to his front and with a great push of his metal hand used Kilo Boost to launch himself back up to deck. He landed and as soon as he did prepared for another attack. He wasn't going to let Randy leave.

He looked at Randy as he lifted his metal hand to prepare to strike again. Blood ran down his face but he didn't seem to care much. He didn't have time to care if he was injured. He just had to stop Randy.

"I'm not letting you escape Randy...."

As Devlin busted through the floor a maniacal laugh burst from Randy's chest. She was actually enjoying this, the destruction. It sounded great, felt great, looked great. She loved how easily she crushed Devlin through the floor. She felt as if she was invincible, like she couldn't be touched, like nothing could ever stand in her way. The destruction of it all....the irony, using Devlin to crush his own ship. "Crush his ship..." Randy knew how much the boat meant to Devlin. All the time, tears, and manpower invested in it. It was like the ship was a simple for everything Devlin stood for and she planned on taking that away. "Good....good....the justice of it please...very good"

Not missing a beat, Randy quickly dashed forward, launching a fist into the mast of the ship. It shook a bit, but nothing distinctly gave way. She sneered. She expected the mast to give way to her awesome power. To bow to her prowess. Randy continued launching blow after blow into the ship. Blood flew as her knuckles ripped from the blunt trauma. Taking no notice to her blood tearing down the wood, Randy grew tired of this hindrance.

Devlin was stirring. He was making his way to the top deck again and Randy knew she would once again have to crush him under the own weight of that metallic arm of his. With one last grunt, Randy threw her fist at the large wood pillar. The loud crack of several attacks sounded like thunder as Randy's hand moved but once. It was obviously she used Savage Blow and her complete disregard for not only common courtesy but the unwritten rule that all special attacks must be shouted out showed that she wasn't messing around.

The wood began to crack as Devlin landed on the top deck. Randy quickly spun around to the other side of the mast and delivered a destructive drop kick to the shattering wood. The mast splintered and then suddenly came crashing down toward Devlin's position. Randy was pleased.
