Skye looked at Seto and pointed his gun to the ground. He pulled the trigger letting the bullet hit the dirt. "That is a warning shot. The next shot will be at your head. Don't touch my vodka." Skye's voice was very serious. "It's mine and mine only. I may let you have some, if I'm in a good mood. By the way right now...I'm not..Also cigarette's those are mine too. I'm more lenient on lending those than my vodka." After warning Seto he pulled out his vodka and took another big drink. He turned to Axcel. "If he's first mate," Skye said pointing to the man. "What am I gonna be? And just a quick question. Where are we going from here?" Skye wanted to know for the sake of knowing. |

"Heh." Seto gave a grin towards the apparent marksman, walking by and tapping the bottle of vodka, "Mmh...'S good stuff." He gave a little chuckle and walked past to lean against the wall of an alley not far behind the two. His rage had subsided, and, being that he was now on this...Kid's crew, he didn't mind about the money. "Oi...If your keeping that money...You'll need to go pay for my bill at that bar." He gave a sigh as he lifted his leg, bending it at the knee so that the bottom of his foot could rest flat against the brick wall. He wasn't sure if what he'd done was the best idea he'd had. So far in his life, he hadn't done a thing he'd regretted. He only hoped that didn't change. |

Alaster leaned back and appeared that he was about to fall over. He teetered back and forth as he thought through what had just happened. He had finally found a decent "safe haven" of sorts for his search. He just hoped none of his "crewmates" had heard of his past or recognized him. He looked around the street and noticed a lot of people were starting to stare. He turned to his captain and said, "I do believe we should evacuate this area sir, it could get dangerous if we don't." |

Axcel heard Seto mentioning that he had to pay his bill at the bar. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Axcel played it off with a big grin on his face. He then turned his attention to the vodka drinking-cigarette smoking-rifle shooting-Skye. “Well your apparently a marksman…but you could always be the quartermaster! You know…take care of our equipment and stuff…” Axcel said with a cheerful tone. Alaster then suggested they leave the area, and Axcel glanced around and undoubtedly agreed. “All right! Lets go!” Axcel said marching into the alleyway, having absolutely no clue where he was headed since he was unfamiliar with this island. |

“Well your apparently a marksman…but you could always be the quartermaster! You know…take care of our equipment and stuff…” Axcel said. "Marksman I understand. But why quartermaster. Isn't he worried I might steal something? Man that kid is odd." “All right! Lets go!” Axcel said. Looking down the deserted alley Skye's stomach began to rumble. "Umm...Captain....do we have a cook? I'm a bit hungry...I mean we can get something in town for now. But what about in the middle of the sea?" They exited the alley into a street of merchants. "Do you even know where you're going?" |

"Heh." Seto listened in quietly on the conversation before speaking just as the marksman passed by him, and just after he had spoken, "I guess that makes me the cook, eh?" He grinned a little at his remark, he didn't figure he had gotten off to a good start with either him or the older one, but he didn't care. He knew they'd eventually get along. The alleyway they passed through was quite dirty. Trash was everywhere, and, if one were to look upwards, it would be seen that there were windows open to homes which didn't seem even fit to hold life. Nonetheless, screaming and shouting could be heard. Seto stepped over something which resembled molded bread, but was almost orange in color. I don't even want to know what that is... He thought, taking a deep breath of almost-fresh air as they exited the alleyway into a marketplace. "Oi, I'll go buy some food and supplies, and I'll cook tonight, but I'll need money. You stole all mine, remember?" Seto made his way towards his captain, waiting for the money needed to buy such things. The marketplace was a busy one. It seemed to be split up into multiple sections, most of the sellers using stands covered by tarps. Their far right was dominated by food, mainly lemons, but many types of food, from fish to fruit. As one moved more towards the center, more everyday-things seemed to pop-up for sale, including compasses and the like. Finally, at their far left, most of the sales were on weapons or such things. It was a loud place, it seemed most of the town was out that night at the market. |

"Captain, sir, may I suggest as your second in command that we least acquire a small ship before we head off anywhere. I also suggest that the first mate should receive the captain's quarters, so that I may better deal with the paperwork." Alaster knew he was being a little obvious in his manipulation, but he figured this guy would just say no and forget about it, or be stupid enough to fall for it. Alaster also wanted to get out of the crowds. It wasn't that he thought somebody would recognize him or something, it's just that he didn't like dealing with too many people. Nor did he like the fact that a thief was their quartermaster or that a penniless swordsman was their "cook". All in all, he was hoping that there was going to be a bit more organization. |

“Bah its question after question isn’t it?” Axcel cut off everyone’s questions, even though it was natural since he had just recruited 3 random men into his crew completely out of the blue. So of course they would be full of questions for the mysterious kid who had indirectly forced them to join. “All right, all right, take your money back,” Axcel took out a bag of belli gave Seto a handful of change. “You better not spend it on any alcohol!” Axcel said in a sarcastic tone. “We are headed too…Actually I have no idea.” He said, he wasn’t familiar with the area, and all he knew was that it was best to leave where they previously were due to all the townsmen being around. “Of course we need a small ship before we head out anywhere, how are we supposed to head out without one?” Axcel told Alaster, pointing out the obvious. He then asked for the captain’s quarters to do paperwork, “We’re pirates. We don’t do paperwork, besides that there should be plenty of other rooms for you to write your own journal if that’s what you mean.” “All right guys. Let’s split up from here, collect whatever you need. Then we will all meet up back in this street corner at evening. That is about 12 hours from now, so that should be plenty of time to do whatever you need.” Axcel told everyone, making sure they heard. After that they would all be ready to go and search out for a ship. “If you get lost, look for the brick wall with a hole in it.” Axcel said, however the wall next to them didn’t have a hole in it. Neither did any wall near them. Axcel then pulled his arm back and slammed his fist against it creating a small hole in it, but the wall was clearly strong enough to support itself. It wasn't that he was strong enough to break through brick walls so easily, the cement between the bricks was still drying from recent repairs. A grin grew across Axcel's face, Damn, I'm strong. |

Skye had head off to down the street towards more merchants. When Axcel punched the wall that drew alot of attention. Not wanting to be apart of the commotion of the fact that a kid punched and shattered a wall with his bare hands, he headed away. As he was walking he noticed street vendors selling varieties of stuff. "Wow you can really get anything here." Skye's first order of business was heading to a nearby bar. He had been feeling empty inside, just as empty as his vodka bottle. Walking up to the bartender he threw his empty bottle on the counter. "Refill on vodka please." The bartender looked at him and glanced down at the bottle. "Aren't you a little young to be drinking?" Said the bartender. "Does it matter?" Skye chuckled. "You're getting money, aren't you?" The bartender said nothing more, he just grabbed the bottle, refilled, and put it back on the counter. Happily Skye grabbed the bottle and left some of Seto's still stolen money on the counter. "Thanks." Skye walked out of the bar sipping from his bottle. "I've missed you." Skye whispered while walking down the alley to a weapons shop. When he walked through the door he could instantly smell a faint hint of gunpowder. Various objects meant for hurting other people were spread throughout the room. Skye made his way to the back looking for something he might want. Finally he saw what he wanted. A scope for his rifle. Skye began to pick it up and examine it. He was lost in thought when a voice startled him. "That is our top of the line scope. It can zoom in and out on a target by rotating the glass to convex or concave. It usually would cost 10,000 Beli but seeing as how you look a little on the poor side I might cut the price in half. That is all I can do for you." Skye wasn't sure if it was worth spending the rest of his, well, Seto's money on. "I'll buy it." Skye stated, digging Seto's money out of his pocket. With his new scope Skye headed off to a roof. "Time to test this thing out." Skye said to himself. "Where's he at....?" Skye said looking for the swordsman. |

Seto stared dully as this kid, his "captain", punched a hole through a brick wall. Who knew he had that kind of power, eh? He thought, though made nothing more of it, and turned to walk off. He didn't really care that his money had been stolen, after all, what was in this bag the kid had given him was more. "Oi. The name's Seto." He called as he walked off, waving a bit with the back of his hand. He disappeared into the mass of stands covered with many types of foods soon after. He was carrying the small bag of beli over his shoulder, with his arm bent close to his body as he looked about the marketplace. He had to keep an eye out for the freshest ingredients, he didn't want bad ingredients spoiling his dishes. He had enough money to buy food enough for the four of them to eat for about a week with nice dishes. He had to hope the kid wouldn't recruit anymore into this damned crew, less he gave him more money to buy food with. He shook his head as he walked down the street. The street itself had many cracks in it, and it was obvious it was old. The stands and, even their owners, seemed to be quite old, also. The people seemed to be good-natured, though, no one stealing food, or people's money... The entire place smelled of a mix of spices, herbs, and general food. It all created a nice smell, and there were some people cooking nearby. It was nice to take a breather before all this talk about the new crew. Alright...Tonight...I'll cook...hm... Out of his pocket, Seto pulled a list of recipe titles. Stuffing the bag of beli neatly into his pocket, he ran his index finger down the list, Mmh...Red Wine Beef Stew it is. That means I'll need... Looking at the list, he sighed. There was quite a few ingredients, and this was just tonight's meal:
"Hm..." Seto turned, and, just behind him, found a stand with tomatoes. Setting a few coins on the stall, he made off with more than enough for tonight's meal. Soon after, he stood before a stall boasting rosemary, along with some other greens. Now he needed potatoes, flour, wine, beef, butter and chicken broth. After a long while of annoying searching, Seto arrived just outside the market with everything needed for tonight's meal, plus enough for six more meals. He gave anotehr deep sigh as he lugged a large bag of food back to the meetings spot. He had gotten there early, and pushed his back to the wall before sliding down. Pulling out a toothpick, he set it in his mouth, before fiddling with it using his teeth and tounge. |

Alaster wandered away from his "crew". He wasn't quite sure what to make of this to be honest. Alaster figured it would be time to prepare for a journey, though he may want to acquire a few things a first mate should have...though respect couldn't be bought, unfortunately. However, intimidation didn't have to be bought...or worked for...then again, Alaster was as intimidating as a dying mongoose. He didn't have enough money to bribe people either. He supposed that he had to go with Respect at this point. Money was still an issue though. For all of them. Without money, they wouldn't get very far at all. In their current state, they had no real skills or assets to use at the moment. They would have to raid someplace to steal something at this rate. Alaster began calculating the most profitable methods with the least repurusions. The best idea so far was to raid another pirate crew, or attack a secret marine operation. Either way, the central government wouldn't be able to care. |

Okay, and here be the EXP bonuses for the first page, since you were wondering. Skye, your profile link seems to be broken, so you got marked down for that (since I couldn't...ya know, easily find your character's personality, it was a bit harder to grade that part). Generally, things were scored lower because your posts were a bit on the short, minimalistic end at the beginning of this thread, though that has since changed. Furthermore, what with the thread starting, you were slow to start giving each other material to work with (though for character introduction threads, I gave 1's out for reaction points and usually for setup points). Seto (Seto)-21 Alaster (Magimonk)-21 Skye (Skye)-8 Axcel (Axcel)-11 And here's for the second page; you got things moving more, but some of the scenes were woefully short. True, I'm not sure what you should've done instead, but you clearly sacrificed a bit of the individual post quality for speed, which is a quality in and of itself as it allowed the thread to move much faster and gave a good flow. Skye, I'm afraid you didn't really do anything here. Axcel (Axcel)-19 Seto (Seto)-16 Alaster (Monk)-16 Skye (Skye)-5 So our final totals for pages one and two ARE Alaster (Monk)-37 exp Seto (Seto)-37 exp Axcel (Axcel)- 30 exp Skye (Skye)-13 exp It should be noted...Seto and Monk did NOT get the same values for each post individually; rather, things just worked out like that by the end. Please bring any objections to me. In future, the values will be broken down. |
