"Hn..." Seto rested his right forearm on the sheaths of Seidaku and Onshuu, and seemed to lean back a little against the air. The smug grin was never removed from his face, if anything, it grew. It seemed the real fun was going to start soon, no more dealing with weaklings.

Or so he hoped.

But the man before him did not seem weak, though...Looks could be deceiving, Seto supposed. Seto gazed around himself, looking at each of his naka-no...crewmates. It wasn't time to call them that...Yet.

It seemed there were four ringleaders, matching up perfectly with their number. Fitting... Seto thought as his vision jumped from Skye, and someone who wielded spoon-like tonfas, to Alaster, and his cane-wielding opponent. Last, he turned just to his right, to his Captian whom was standing just next to him, and to his unarmed opponent. Now would be the time that they would gauge each other's strengths.

Marksman...Captain...First Mate...And...

Swordsman...Slash cook. Poetic title...

Gripping the area of scabbard just below the handguard with his right, Seto thumbed at the hilt of Seidaku, releasing it with a click. His right lowered a bit, now resting on Onshuu's sheath, and performed the task. Gripping the hilt of Seidaku, he pulled it out with his right, and Onshuu with his left. With a flip of Seidaku, Seto was ready.

After looking around at all the members of the crew, Sid sighed and approached Seto. He lifted his hands in the air and began to complain, "How sad this is. None of you are beautiful enough to even be in the same nation as I. I suppose that you already have decided to fight with me, so I might as well choose to accommodate you. Though I don't think this is going to last very long I'm afraid..."

Sid pointed a katar at Seto and tilted back his head. In one swift movement, Sid leaped into the air and landed behind Seto. He held his hands up to his chest and swung a katar at Seto's back, "Hopefully you can last long enough to make this enjoyable for me. That's the least you could do now that I've given you the privilege of fighting one as beautiful and artistic as myself."

"Che..." Seto spat, looking almost disgusted by the man's talk of beauty and artistry. It was stupid to talk of such things before his death. With that, Sid jumped, landing behind Seto, and initiating the starting blow.

Raising Seidaku, Seto bent his arm up above his head, and back, so that his hand was just above his back, the sword blocking the single katar which was now fatally aimed towards his back. With that, he had rid himself of the first blow, and it was time to initiate his own counterattack.

Even before he had blocked the blow, Seto had loosened his grip on Onshuu and gave it a push with his fingers. As steel struck steel, Seto gripped Onshuu once more, and, with that push, he was now holding it backwards. He thrust his arm back, hoping to stab the disgrace-of-a-man in his stomach, hoping he wouldn't see it coming due to Seto's back being faced towards him.

At the same time, Seto forcefully straightened his arm, and brought it down, causing Sedaku to grind against the tip of hte katar and, also cause it's tip to come dangerously close to Sid as it returned to it's original position.

Before either of Seto's strikes even got close to him, Sid instantly stepped away, as though he predicted how his opponent would react. He pointed one of his Katar at Seto as he laughed away, "My my, I can see how you took out so many of our footmen. Your sword techniques are very impressive. However, they are still rudimentary forms in my opinion. Though you are quite skilled, this is very disappointing."

He lowered his body and pulled both of his Katar back behind him. With a quick swaying motion, Sid bolted to Seto's right side. He brought one of his katar in front of his chest and snapped one his legs forward using it as a vault to send his body flying into Seto. He took the Katar that was still behind his back and swung it forward in an uppercut fashion.

The man dodged both strikes fairly easily, as Seto had suspected, and almost hoped. Seto remained still. He moved his eyes to his right, though never cocked his head as the man rambled on. He was quite confident, it seemed. Seto would need to teach him differently, then.

He then initated a second attack. It looked like Seto was playing defensive this time, to his disappointment. His opponent dashed towards him, and was boosted up at Seto, followed by an upper-cut motion. Seto immediately stepped forward, and turned to face the man in the same motion, dodging the man's attack.

He reacted by lashing out right his right, which was now on the opposite of where it had been. This caused Seidaku to be sent flying straight towards the man's skull. With that, he brought up his left above the man, and brought it down forcefully at his waist in an attempt to cut into the man with Onshuu. Mmh...This guy isn't too bad...Hopefully the other's are doing okay...But...I'm sure they are. Seto's thoughts wandered to his crew mates, though his focus on the battle was never lost. He couldn't help but wonder, he had no clue of their real fighting abilities.

Sid deflected the skull blow effortlessly. He assumed that his opponent was going aim for a critical area. The head was the most obvious of these. Sid was no quite sure were the next blow was going to land. Apparently, Seto had chosen to aim for Sid's stomach area from the left side of his waist. As soon as he saw Seto aim for his waist, he used the momentum he gained from his swing to pull himself around Seto's opposite side.

Unfortunately for him, this meant he needed to give up on his attack for now. After he managed to pull away from Seto, he laughed, "My, you are quite skilled. Though, if you had one blade, you would be remarkably weaker. Of course, I won't do anything as coarse as disarmament, so I will defeat you as you are."

Sid began circling Seto slowly. After a moment, he picked up speed and began racing around Seto as though to throw him off from his sight.

Seto leaped away from his opponent as his opponent backed away from him, and he began to talk confidently once again. "Hn..." Was all Seto managed, he was never one to talk much while fighting, He uses two weapons, too...Baka...

He then began to circle Seto as if to throw him off, though it seemed their speeds were nearly the same, thus, Seto kept up with him easily. Outstretching one arm, he kept the razor of his blade towards the direction his opponent would come from, in an attempt to 'closehanger' the man with Seidaku. His left came down from the opposite side, just behind his opponent, trapping him in a scissor-like movement. However, this scissor-movement had two levels, as Onshuu was lower than Seidaku, and they closed on each other. Should the man duck under Seidaku, Onshuu would be there from behind. If he were to attempt to keep above Onshuu at a reasonable height, Seidaku would catch him.

Seto glanced down at the man's katars briefly. It was then he noticed an odd liquid coating the tips of them, which he assumed was poison. I can't get hit...That @#&*%... He then glanced down at his chest, which was bare save for the jacket over him. He felt that the jacket might get in the way, if it were to get caught on one of his katars...Kuso...

As Seto begin trying to match Sid's pace, Sid knew his plan was working. Unlike Seto, he only needed to strike his opponent with a little prick of the blade, and the match would be over. As soon as Seto began his scissor like attack, Sid jumped backwards before either of the blades could pose a problem. After he landed some distance behind Seto, he laughed, "My, wasn't that fun."

After his self proclamation of victory, Sid rushed forward to attack Seto from behind. He kept his Katars low and brought them above his head at the last moment. After he closed in on his target, he swung down hard, aiming for Seto's shoulders.

"You really talk too much, shithead." Seto immediately turned about as the man both jumped back and began to speak, allowing him the time to foresee his opponent's attack. Seto brought his katana's upwards, the hilts towards his opponent, wedging them under his opponent's katars. Neither off them seemed to have the upper hand in strength, which irritated Seto. He could usually overpower most people, and to be evenly matched by...This?

Keeping his blades pressed against his opponents, he ducked down by bending his left leg, and pushed forward with his right foot, wedging himself between his opponent's arms. He then ran his swords down the katars, causing quite an annoying grinding sound, along with a few sparks. This would cause his blades to run underneath his opponent's arms, cutting into them, and hopefully down into his chest, as he intended to swing both in a full vertical motion.

I can't lose here, especially not if the others do...I won't give that marksman a reason to mock me! Seto was quite intent on winning for his own desires, and so that he wouldn't seem so weak to his crewmates. Hopefully they were still fairing well on their own, he didn't exactly have the time to check.

Also surprised by the fact this swordsman was equaling him in strength, Sid was trying to do everything he could to overpower his opponent while trying to prevent a possible counter to this position. As soon as he noticed Seto lowering his blades, Sid pushed his Katar down and stopped their advance. He stared directly at Seto while still paying attention to the swordsman's blades, "I won't lose to a unattractive @#&*% like you!"

Sid pushed forward attempting to knock Seto off balance. As soon as that would happen, Sid would go in for the finishing blow. He kept pushing, making sure Seto's blades would get no closer.

@#&*%... Seto thought as his blades were stopped. The man pushed forward hard against Seto in an attempt to apparently knock him off balance. He pushed back, equalling his strength and stopping the advance. Kuso...This is troublesome... He slid the blades down a bit so that the middle of their blades were against the katars. With that, he moved both his right and left arms in a quarter-circle to their respective sides. This caused both swords to end in a horizontal fashion, Seidaku above Onshuu.

It was quite irritating that neither of them were gaining any ground over the other, that they were so extremely equal that he was left to no movement but the slight quivering of his muscles as he pushed against his opponent's weapons in an attempt to get the upper hand. He couldn't get hit by his opponent's weapon, or he would most likely be put in a very undesirable situation.

This isn't going good... Seto began to move his right and left arms towards each other slowly, so that he would be able to use an attack similar to his 'Nitoryuu: Aranami', only without being able to charge towards his opponent, and hopefully cut through the damned beauty-@#&*%.

"Enough of this this." Once Sid noticed Seto changing positions with his blades, he leaped back ending the clash between them. He started breathing a little harder as he pondered what to do next. After some contemplation, he stood up straight and caught his breath. Sid was absolutely certain that his next attack would work.

He leaped further back before breaking into a sprint, rushing towards Seto's direction. Sid pulled his arms back and tensed his muscles in his upper body. As he closed in on Seto he said, "Let's see if you can handle this!"

After loosening his tensed muscles, he unleashed a flurry of strikes on Seto, moving closer and closer in for every strike he threw.

Seto remained silent at his opponent's now expected remark. His attitude was getting rather old, this cockiness of his. Indeed, he was better than Seto had expected, but there was no need for such annoyances. He jumped back just after his opponent did, and as he spoke, put the hilt of Seidaku into his mouth, and began to undo the wraps on his left hand. He repeated the process, this time switching Onshuu into his mouth.

He stripped himself of his jacket, so that it wouldn't be in the way. Having nothing on his torso besides the jacket caused his upper body to now be but bronzed skin and muscle. Calloused hands now gripped the white-and-black hilts of Seidaku and Onshuu, readying himself.

"Nitoryuu..." Seto spoke, lowering both swords down to his sides. He leaned forward a bit as he did so, and both he and his opponent took off in a dash towards each other at the same time. He kept low as he ran, and quickly spun both swords around once, as to hold them in the opposite direction. He then dug them into the ground by sliding them down into the floor just as the two came within melee range. He immediately loosened his grip on the swords as he jumped up, before tightening them around the long chain as he was lifted up over his opponent's attacks.

He spun once in mid-air, and was just above his opponent, "Yokaze..." As he finished, he landed behind his opponent after spinning once more, and pulled forcefully on the chains by crossing his arms, causing his swords to fly in an 'x'-pattern towards the katar-wielder. His spinning in the air caused the chains to wrap around each other, which, in turn, caused them to spin as the flew towards his opponent, weaving in and out of the barrage of strikes.

As soon as he saw the blades being whipped at him, Sid dove for the ground and rolled for cover. He pulled himself from the floor and turned around to face Seto. He was obviously irritated, "I tire of this! How can someone as ugly as you even possibly match my abilities at all? It's absolutely inconceivable!"

The man calmed himself and pointed a katar at Seto, "This is the final maneuver I will perform. The sheer beauty and force of this attack will crush you completely."

Sid rushed Seto as he did before, but once he got close enough, he leaped into the air. He lowered his right hand and lifted his left. As he passed by Seto, he swung both in the opposite direction, creating a scissor like attack. Meanwhile...

Seto landed, back turned to his opponent. He could tell his attack had missed by the sound of a body behind him dropping, and most likely rolling underneath. Seto's back was not turned away from his opponent as he crossed his right hand over his left, whipping his swords around. He began to move both hands back to their respective sides in a figure-eight motion, whipping the swords around slowly as to stop their momentum and once again grab them safely. As the figure-eight's completed, he slowly forced them back and up, letting go of the chain, and sliding his hands down to grab their black-and-white hilts.

Seto jerked his head to his left, using his peripheral vision to watch his opponent out of the corner of his eye. He began to speak of the final maneuver and Seto jumped back and spun towards his opponent. He crossed both arms, before pointing both swords back towards their respective sides, creating two 'x' shapes, one by his arms, the other formed by his swords, "Nitoryuu..."

The two charged towards each other at the very same time, matching each other's speed perfectly. His opponent jumped into the air, and Seto followed, never losing momentum. The two met as his opponent's katar's moved in a scissor-like movement and Seto ripped his swords outwards. Seto found himself behind his opponent, their backs facing each other's, at an angle facing into the air above and in front of him, his right knee raised and arms outstretched, "Aranami!"
