The man who was dressed in a white apron with just a little blood on it shook his head and said. "Not at all, I was able to find that her name is Erika but then she just asked if I as a marine and cried when I told her I wasn't. Then she said she couldn't send me to heaven. . . To tell the truth she scares me." Suddenly they could hear a loud ""YAY!!!" and suddenly looking back to the little girl they observed her jumping up and chopping the neck of a man in a marine's uniform and he crumpled to the ground. She then took out a long burlap sack and starting at his head pulled it onto his body covering him completely then tied the end and began dragging the body away towards the docks. |

Johnny sighed as the man who seemed to be a butcher couldn't give him a real answer. But he had discovered a crucial point though, her name, Erika. He thought it was a beautiful name. But then, he looked over at her, and saw something that disturbed him a lot. She had punched the guy in a karate- like way over his neck, and when he fell, he wrapped him in a sack, and began to drag him away. His grip around the butchers shoulder hardened, and then, he set off after her, but still keeping his distance. He had to know what was going on here. |

"Ow, oww, owww!" the butcher yelped as he was he was gripped and dragged after the little girl after she had knocked out the marine. Most of the people following the girl dispersed fearing the small thing, but a few still remained to keep the butcher and John company as the girl continued to the docks. |

Johnny realized that he was still holding onto the butcher, and quickly released his grip around him. He apologized, and then started to follow Erika once again. he was determined to find out who she really was, and who had taught her those things. When they made it to the docks, John realized that they had to be a little more careful. he had heard stories that folks that used to hang around in the harbors were a little rougher than normal people, and he did indeed see a few people which looked... out of the ordinary. |

This particular dock did not have many dingy places. In fact it was quite clean there were a few odd people around one wearing a rainbow striped coat and a black hat that covered his face and another who was scratching on the hull of a ship in a pattern of x's and o's. The little girl ignored all of it and dragged the marine into a well maintained warehouse. |

John breathed out as he realized that the dock wasn't really as dangerous as he had thought. Made he shouldn't be so stereotypical about people. Anways, he didn't have time to think of that now, he had to hurry after Erika, into the warehouse. But before he went off, he tunred to the butcher once again. "I'm going to go in after her. We can't all go in after her, we would be to suspicious. Take the others with you, and tell them to get away from here." Then he hurried after her without any further word, into the warehouse to find the secret of the little girl Erika. |

The inside of the warehouse was dark as Cronos entered it was eerily so until suddenly from somewhere in the darkness there came a deep voice that said, "Hello, John." Suddenly the lights were hit and the warehouse was bathed in light from overhanging spotlights. The place was filled with about twenty people including Erica who was pouting in the corner, and the marine who had been taken out of the sack and put into a cage. Many of the people were dressed in everyday clothes that anyone might wear for work including a clown with large floppy shoes. However there were a few men dressed in vaguely military attire a large man that stood about a foot and a half above Johnny looked to be the man who had spoke. ![]() |

Johnny tried to get his eyes used to the darkness, but it was no use. It was too black, he couldn't see his hand in front of himself. He glanced back at the entrenace of the warehouse. Then suddenly he heard someone calling out to him, using his own name, in the dark. He turned around as the lights went on, and there he saw them. A big group of people standing there, watching him, and among them was Erica and the marine that she had caught. None of them looked really dangerous, except for the man standing right in front of him. He was much taller than Johnny, and the cold expression on his face looked extremly uninviting. Johnny took a step back, rising his fists into the air as he began to speak. "Who are you? How do you know my name? What is this place? ANd finally, what are you doing with Erica? As he spoke, he took three slow steps back, away from the tall man. |

The tall man took slow deliberate steps towards Johnny and the whole warehouse was quiet. As he finally drew near he suddenly seemed to cough out a *pah* and then broke down into laughter as thee rest of the warehouse did the same. they began pointing and laughing among themselves as the man threw his arm around Cronos's shoulders and forced out. "I'm sorry I couldn't resist!" through his laughter. "You should have seen the look on your face! As for your questions. . ." He said as the warehouse quieted but not down to its former silence now there was a faint buzz of the people talking among themselves. "You may call me Tim, I was at your performance earlier and you WERE introduced. This... is... a warehouse. It serves its purpose for the time being, and Erica.... is complicated. We will discuss her later But first let's have something to eat." the man recently introduced as Tim said and the crowd was seen to be separating and sitting at many tables that were blocked when Cronos first entered. "We don't have much right now but you are welcome to it. Bilis! Bring the others in." He finished and the man in the rainbow coat brought in the six men that had followed Erica into the warehouse. "Eric is drawing on ships again." The man said in almost a taunting way to Tim who brought his palm up to his face and slowly brought it down. "Stop hiiim plllleassse." He drew out in an exasperated manner, "Why can't that man just write on paper?" "Don't restrain a genius miiinnd." Bilis in a mocking manner and left chuckling to himself. "Oi." Tim exclaimed and then put a smile back on his face and walked over to the newcomers. "Gentlemen! Please come this way." |

Johnny was tense in every muscle he had, he was prepared to fight his way out of this, and as the tall man came closer to him, he clenched his fists tighter, and then... He got a big amount of air in his face as the man breathed out onb him, and then placed his arm around his shoulder. Johnny couldn't move for a second when the man who apparently was named Tim dragged him along under his arm. Then he realxed, though not to 100 percent. he was still not entirly sure that he could trust this person, or his comrades. As Johnny got his questions answered, he began to think a little of what the man meant that they would discuss Erica later. But he would not care about that now as he and the others who had been following Erica was lead away by Tim. Inside himself, Johnny laughed a little to the man named Eric, who apparently liked to paint on boats more than to paint on papers. Well, Johnny was not the one to blame or complain about other peoples artistic ideas, so he followed Tim, and as he did, he actually began to sing a quiet song for himself. Hum Hum Hum When people are dying in need and needs themselves a shining steed Who comes around to save to defeat all the nave's it's the hero it's the hero the hero Hum Hum Hum The hero who cannot be trusted... He finished the song by a deep barytone, that endured long, and then he giggled a little, and kept walking with Tim. |

Tim led them to a long table and asked them all to sit. "As I said it isn't much but eat and we will talk. First of all let's get the introductions out of the way. You may all call me Tim. I am a Revolutionary." The newcomers began muttering and exclaiming about the absurdity of his claim. "I assure you it is true. Right now we are in the area to try and convince Montblanc Cricket to keep the new government from joining with the world government. We're not here to make trouble. Now please, tell me about yourselves." The men introduced them selves one by one. Kimble the clock maker, Fera the female palace guard, Benton the fisherman, James the merchant, Herb who refused to say what he did and finally Alastair who introduced himself as a butcher. Tim smiled at Fera and asked, "So how have things been at the palace since the takeover?" "Cricket is a good man, the place is quite lively but it isn't as much fun with you and the young master gone. And I do miss Alastair's stories." She replied and looked at both Tim and Alastair fondly. "I assume I know the reason you are doing this..... Tim. It is going to be odd calling you that." |

Johnny was shocked as he heard taht Tim was a Revolutionary, but only a little. He knew that the Revolutionaries had been growing in force the latest years, but he as he thought many others, did never expect to face them front on. But here was one now, in the body of Tim, trying to not let the King apply to the World Government. Johnny sat down by the table, and as the others, introduced himself to Tim. "I am John the Poet, lonely wanderer and singer," he said, and looked on the other people around the table. It seemed like Fera and Tim knew each other from before. He picked up a small piece of bread, and began to chew on it slowly. He was getting interested in their conversation, and didn't want to interrupt. But then Fera seemed to have stopped speaking, and he swallowed his chew of bread. "Excuse me, I don't mean to interruot, but there is one thing I have get clear to myself. I take it that you two know each other from before, and that is none of my business. But since we are all assembled here, and you all apart from me seem to know what is happening, would you please mind tell me a bit about all this? As I said, I'm a wanderer, so I hardly know anything about this country. And further, I don't really know WHY we all are gathered here. Could someone please" he did a little bow with his head towards Tim "tell me the reason to all of this?" |

Tim looked towards Johnny and tented his fingers as he leaned backwards in his chair. "I would have thought that anyone in North blue would have heard of it. I take it you have read the story of Norland the Liar. The story written in that book was based on a true story Norland was a real person who found a city of gold, but when he tried to bring the king of this island there back in ancient times, half of the island was gone including the city of gold. The king was furious. He had traversed the Grand Line himself to bring the treasure back to his country. He accused Norland of making up the story and sailed back towards Lyneel where Norland was executed." Tim stopped and took a long drink from a mug. "The Montblanc name lived on though through his children, however they were the shame of the island. They were shunned no matter what they did. Their name was stained by the name of "The Liar". There was one man however in that long line of descendants who made his way to the island that was spoken of in the story of Norland the Liar. It was pure chance but the man took this as a challenge from the long deceased Norland. That man was Montblanc Cricket. The current king of this island. He searched the ocean floor for years for any sign of the city of gold. And he found it too. Statues of animals from the island, however a statue is not a city. "Then the Mugiwara Kaizoku-dan came to the island with a crazy idea of going to the sky. Despite the complete absurdity of their request he told them of the Knock up stream an upward flowing current that only appears on rare occasions. The Straw hats sailed directly into the current and a while later a great ringing was heard across half the Grand line." Tim stopped again to take another drink and looked at the confused faces on some of the listeners. "Let me explain. In the diaries of Norland he spoke of the golden bell that rang every morning that he was on the island of the city of gold. Its clear chime that could be heard for miles around. The chime let Cricket that the Mugiwara pirates had found the city of gold in the sky. It had been hit by the Knock up stream and lost to he blue sea forever. Or at least that is how Cricket said it happened. The people mostly don't believe that part of the story. However they could not deny the relics that showed up on the island of Water 7 that were obviously from the place Norland called Shandra. "Norland was able to obtain these items after much hardship on his part, and brought them back to present to the king to clear his families name. However as he came into port with his treasure recovered from the grand line and his story was told many of the people revolted against the king, he was labeled a coward. The king fled without putting up much of a fight. Even though his main concern was to prevent the loss of blood, he never did care for the title of king. The prince and several of his caretakers also fled and the people put a reluctant Cricket on the throne. The man is a competent ruler and knows how to take the advice of others. The old king was... ineffective but many of the palace staff were loyal to him. Like our friend Alastair who left the palace for the streets when Cricket gained power. "Any questions so far?" Tim said and began eating before his food got too cold. |

During the whole story that Tim told, Johnny sat still and listened. Sure he had heard the story of Norland the Liar, he was almost sure every kid in North Blue had heard it when they were young . But he had not heard the part about the Pirate King saving the honour of the family. He, like all others, had always belived that the Montblanc family were a buncg of liars, but now, all of that came crushing up side down. Johnny nodded, and took another piece of bread in his mouth. When Tim was finished with his story, Johnny took a sip of water from a glass that stood in front of him, trying to swallow all the news at the same time. he glanced over at the butcher, Alastair, whom he had spoken to before. So he was still loyal to the old king? That was quite interesting. Then Johnny looked first at Tim, then at Fera, then at Tim again. He placed his glass on the table. "That was... indeed an interesting story. As a poet, inspiration comes flowing in me like a great waterfall of romance, but you have still not answered my real question: Why are we all here, if you would be so kind." |

Tim smiled and said, "For the party primarily! We thought we would send Erica out and find some interesting people, she always seems to find them for us. Now we have to convince her not to kill the marine though." "Why would she do that?" Alastair asked "She mentioned regretting not being able to send me to heaven. What is wrong with that girl?"
