My. This place is really.... odd.

That was the first thought in Rumo's head as he entered the zone called "Envy". All around him, everywhere, were things that he would never have dreamed would be in the same city. Along the street he was walking, he could see prostitutes, bakeries, fashion boutiques, people lying on the ground asleep, all in a confusing mix, staring at each other with evil eyes. As he walked along the street, towering tall above the people due to his immense height, he could feel their evil eyes looking at him, coming from all over the place he turned his head around several times, and it didn't seem like they tried to hide their anger with him. He could not understand why, but he was used being looked at because of how tall he was. But not to this extent. He felt that he had do get out of their sight as fast as he could. He was not afraid, but it was still unpleasent. He eyed the street up and down, until he spotted a fruit shop not to far from him. He had a dying need for bananas, and made his way towards it.

He entered the fruit shop, which was not a simple task. He had to bend down to not hit his chest in the doorpost, and when he made it inside, he noticed that the people in there were looking at him the same way that all of the others outside did. He chose to ignore them, and looked at the banana shelf instead. He got a small shock as he saw tha high prices. He turned to a woman who seemd to be the owner of the place, and looked down on her with a questioning expression on his face.

"Excuse me miss, but do you have anything here that is cheap?"

Oh yes, the Sector was completely confusing place to be. It seemed like it people from every form of life had been jampacked into one small sector on an island, but this was probably because they had. It was clear that everyone in this sector hated everything else in this sector, what with everyone in a contest glare with anyone who crossed the path of their eyes. However, there was something else you could sense in the air. As much as the people looked they hated everything else, they looked more like they hated themselves more than anything.

Getting indoors at least cut the number of glaring eyes down, but being in a small fruit shop wasn't the best thing for someone of your height. As you browsed the food all over the shelves, you got the feeling that if you want out, caught the pirate king and handed him in for his bounty, you still wouldn't be able to afford much in this shop. A banana alone seemed to be price at 10,000 Belli, though it looked like it could have been more and the labels had just faded from being reused constantly.

As you approached the shopkeeper and asked the defining question that let her he know who you where, she growled up and you and replied with an angered tone, "Only you! GET OUT CHEAPSKATE!" Even though you probably could have crushed her by simply standing on her, it didn't seem wise to start killing people randomly in this town.

Rumo got shocked as the woman behind the desk roared out to him in anger. What had he done? He was only looking for a cheap banana. Was that to much to ask? I mean, just a small banana? He felt like he was dying of hunger, but even though he was a pirate, stealing wasn't his thing. And besides, there were too many people in the building if he decided to get violent. And he had little space to escape on. That meant in several ways.

He sighed as he turned away from the angry woman, and made his way out of the shop, much to the anger of the people walking in and out. He came out of the street, and it had not lost any of its confusing look. Though, he had not expected anything else. But he was getting annoyed with all the angry looks turning towards him. Frankly, he was getting angry about it. The people passed down beside him, looking angrier than ever before, and he decided to do something about it. he spotted a bar not to far from here, and made his way towards it. He got there pretty soon, trying to avoid the looks. But before he entered, he looked around himself. There. He would do.

In the blink of an eye, Rumo had reached down, and grabbed a short, middleaged man by his sleeve, and pulled him up against the wall of the bar. He knew this was drawing heaps of attention, but he did not care about it. He looked at the small man dangling in mid air with his hand around his neck. He shook his head so that his red eye became visiable.

"Now, you tell me what is going on here. WHy is everybody looking at me, and each other so angrily? I demand an answer, or I will crush your larynx." he said, and tightened the grip around his neck.

The little man had not been expecting this. He was easily lifted off his feet and stared at you with a look of fear, that instantly replaced his anger. The people around him started to lose their anger to fear too, and some started screaming and running away. Yet some maintained their anger glares, and you even heard some shouts of "CRUSH HIS $%&£@#! NECK!"

The little quivered and shook his head. "Please don't kill me, I was just obeying the law of Envy! If we don't do it then the guards will behead us!" the little man squeaked as best he could, even with a big hand making it harder to speak, "everyone's acting jealous because you're taller than all of us!"

Even though this sounded really stupid, it was clear the small man wasn't lying. He shook his little head again and said, "everyone is this town is jealous to someone else for some reason, everyone hates me because me bald head is the shiniest in town."

Now that he mentioned it, it was pretty shiny. Looking at your reflection quickly in the mirror like shine, you wandered what crazy world you had ended up in.

Rumo growled slightly for himself as he heard the people shout behind his back. People had no honuor these days. He had no intention of killing this poor man. He just wanted information, that was all. He dropped the man on the ground, and he could hear the angry and dissappointed squeals behind his back. He looked down at the probably now coughing man. Poor old fool.

"The law of Envy? Right, I do remember hearing the name Envy around when I came here. Who is he, or she perhaps, anyway? And furthermore, are you serious when you say that people are jealous of my lenght?" he said, and looked at the man. His bald head was indeed very shiny.

"I will not kill you" Rumo said, sounding more dangerous than he was "if you show me where this Envy person resides. We'll have a little... talk"

He did not know why he wanted to seek out this Envy person, it just felt right. He could not stand to watch people being forced to do things. He knew that pain very well himself. It was horrible, and no living creature should experiense it. He felt that if he confronted this Envy person, he would perhaps work something out. But then he thought another thought. This was a sector. What if there was other sectors? Was he going to have to seek out their leaders too, if there were any other sectors that was. But first of all, he was going to go find this Evny guy. He felt he had to. Pirate or not.

The little man's eyes lost all of their hope. "I can't tell you where she lives, I've said to much already, If I take you there, we'll both die!" The little man was clearly afraid, and though you wanted to find this woman, it might be better to let him go.

Yet, no matter what decision came to your head, it was already too late. Before you could do much else, a bullet flew through the air and hit the shiny head of the bald man. He was sent flying down the street with the force and his blood was not splattered across your clothes. People all around screamed and fled the streets, as the sector guards descended down the street towards you.

"YOU! GIANT! Who are you, I've never seen you in this area before!" One of the guards shouted from near the front. There where about five of them, 3 of which had their rifles pointed at you. "Don't you know it's against the law of Sin to talk about any of the seven sins, that can be punished by death!" The guard said, jeering almost at the now dead bald man that your actions had accidentally got killed.

Rumo sighed as the man seemed unable to help him. He could not, nor did he wish to push him any further, it might cause him to snap. He was just about to place his hand on the mans shoulder as a bullet flew by his arm and missed it with half-an-inch, and blew a hole straight into the old mans head. Rumo gaped as the man fell. He seemed to be falling in slow motion, every second lasting forever. When he finally hit the ground, Rumo's arm fell down to his side. He turned around still with his gaping mouth hanging. He looked at the ones guilty for this deed. They seemed to be guards.

The moment he saw them, his expression changed from shock into pure anger, and he was really close into changing form, but managed to stop himself before anything happened. Though, he kept his angry expression on his face. He had a small plan forming in his head. It was risky, but it was worth a try.

"I forgot. I come from another sector, that is probably why you haven't seen me before" he said with an angry voice while looking down on the guards with an angry expression.

"And by the way, why are you able to speak of the sins when I can't? Because if I mention the sins, then you have to mention that I mentioned the sins, and when you mention that I mentioned them, then you as well mention them. Now, would you want me to go the your boss and mention to him that you mentioned the sins to me when I mentioned the sins to you, so that he will understand why I mention that I mentioned the sins to me after you had already mentioned them because of me? Aw, I feel such envy towards you. Why can you, and not I?"

The guards snorted at Rumo's long and rather pointless talk of mentioning the sins. "We get to mention them because we are under their direct employment, something anyone from this island would clearly know! Now that means you're a foreigner and know of the Sins, that means we have the right to kill in the spot, and that makes me happy," said a different guard with a curly mustache. He was still pointing his smoking rifle at the area he had just blown a hole in the short man.

Now all the guards had their rifles pointed at you, and most of them where itching to shoot you. However the one at the front was standing sneering, waiting to give the order to fire. He quickly said, "Any last words, giant?" while cocking his gun.

If you where planning anything to save yourself, this was looking to be the time to bust it out.

Rumo cursed inside his head as his plan had failed. The whole idea of his plan had been to show the guards then he was angry with them, to show them envy, which he had thought was acustom here. Apperantly these guards were either smarter than they looked, or just extremly stupid. He would think it was the latter. However, they did clearly outnumber him. If he was to fight, or even use his powers against them, he was not sure he would last. He might end up dead.

As the seconds run by, he tried to think of a plan. The more he thought, the more hopeless the situation seemed. The only plan he could think of was so crazy and incredibly stupid that it was almost as if signing one's own deathnote if he were to use it. But what choice did he have? He had to survive, and if the plan didn't work, maybe he had created a little confusion, enough time to take the guards out. He had to try.

He looked at the guards with a smile on his face, which he tried to make look as real as possible. He stretched out his arms in a sort of a greeting posture.

"Congratulations gentlemen, you have passed the test. The sins have ordered me to test all of the guards on this island, to show if they do truly obey the laws of this island. And you, good guards, performed very well. Congratulations."

For a second, the leader of the guards looked dumbfounded, almost as if the plan had worked, but then he destroyed that hope by saying, "You really think we're that stupid. The Sins of this islands would never in a million years to put laws on the island! Each sin has their own laws for their own sector, the sins haven't agreed on anything in 3 years! I don't even know why they still meet in the palace at all anymore!"

The other guards chuckled at this as the leader laughed, "You know, you're pretty stupid giant, but you look strong and judging by the handling of this little dead bugger you seem to know how to handle these sheep. How'd you like to join us in the Envy guard. It's a pretty simple job, all you do is beat the crap out of them whenever they fail to obey our law. What'd you say?"

Even though the guard was making this generous offer, the others kept there guns pointed at you. Interestingly enough, you're little act and dealing with the now dead bald man had seemed to make them like you in some crazy way.

Once again, Rumo cursed inside his head. The guards were smarter than they looked, at least their leader. He was sharp, Rumo would have to watch out for that fellow, if he survived that is. Then, he was extremly surprised. They offered him a job as a guard of this sector? What kind of crazyness ruled this place? And why? Was it a trap? Or were they speaking the truth, that it was really because of how he had acted with the now dead older man? Anyways, he had to find out. And the only way of doing so, was probably to play along and join them.

"What? Yeah, sure, I'll join you! You sure are smart captain, reading through my act like that!" he said, but he was really thinking of something else. He had got some valid information. The sins did not agree with each other. It had been a long time since they agreed. If he took out Envy, then maybe he would not be targeted by the others. It was a risk, but had already taken so many risks today, so why not this one too?

"What shall I do to join you guys, cap'?"

All the guards lowered their guns and smiled at you, to them you where friends now. "Not much, all ya gotta do is come with us to meet envy, she has to "inspect" all new hopefuls for the guards, some paranoia thing she has I think." The other four nodded in agreement. "Anyway, if you just come with us, you'll be a guard in no time!"

The captain turned and pointed towards a large building in the distance. It kinda looked the giant royal palace behind it, only it was... incomplete. "Onwards!" he cried, with the other four saluting and saying "Aye-Aye, Cap'n!" They certainly seemed different from everyone else in the sector. They seemed to be happy and cheery, and didn't seem to envious of anything. Soon the Captain walked onwards, while the other four stood around you walked beside you looking up at you with smiles on their face.

The two behind you looked at each other and said, "With this dude on our side, everyone will be scared of us now!"

Rumo nodded and put on a fake smile on his face as he listened to what the captain said. Around him, the other guards lowered their guns. They seemed to be at ease now, now that he was joining them. He just had to play along until he reached his goal. But he didn't feel good about tricking people this way. He still hadn't found his nakame yet, though he doubted it was these guys, he still felt bad about fooling them. But, his primary goal was to reach this Envy woman. So he headed towards their destination together with them. Their destination looked alot like a castle, only... not finished.

Rumo looked down behind him as they started to walk. He looked at the guys walking behind him, looking cherry as ever, as if nothing was wrong. Indeed, this island was corrupt. But he had to play along, and to keep his act together, he gave a thumbs-up sign to the guys and smiled at them, looking as evil as he could. He had to get to an end of this soon.

Before long, all six of you arrived at the unfinished palace. Though it was far from completion, it still seemed like a very beautiful building, and seemed to be finished up until about the fourth floor. The captain walked forward and knocked on the door. He stood back and waited, turning round once to give you a cheerful smile. Soon the door was opened, and a man dressed in a suit stepped out.

He looked round at the six of you before looking at the captain. "May I help you?" The captain rolled his eyes and walked past the man saying, "Move it, Jeeves, don't have time for butlers." The other guards followed as the butler sighed. Entering the grand hall of the palace, you where met with the loud shouting of a woman standing in the middle of the hall who was yelling commands up the stairs at builders. The captain coughed and she spun round looking infuriated.

"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT!" She screeched at him, making all of them flinch. She didn't look like much, but stood out amongst the builders in her long green dress and with the snake around her neck. She also seemed to be a clear inch taller than everyone in the room, cept you of course. She started charging towards the captain who quickly stammered, "T..T...The. uh.. tall one, he wants to join the guard!" The captain took a couple of steps back away from her as she stared up at you. "This tall craphead? Bugger off! He's taller than me! I DON'T WANT PEOPLE TALLER THAN ME IN THIS SECTOR! KICK HIM OUT NOW OR KILL HIM!"

Rumo cursed inside his head again. It would seem that everytime this day that he had a good idea and thought things were going his way, it would trash right back at him, into his face. This woman... she clearly had anger issues. And what was this about her wanting to be taller then everyone else? Was it because of Envy? Or was she just plain... stupid? Anyway, he had to think of something quick. He could not let himself get thrown out like this. He had to find a way to stay. Charging at her head on like this was no good idea, at least not with the guards behind him. He did not know what to do.

He really had no idea what to do. Sweat was beginning to pour down his face, and he crossed his mind several times just trying to get an idea. In desperation, he leaned towards the captain.

"Please cap', can't you try to convince her to let me join?"
