The Pine Used to be the home of the birds on Siam. Now it has been transformed into a fortress. The trunk of the tree a good ten feet across has been hollowed out into winding stairway that the guards patrol. Higher risk prisoners are kept farther off of the ground. Bird prisoners are kept on the lower floors so they don't have anywhere to escape to. The warden's office is on the pinnacle of the tree. Devlin woke up some time after his encounter chained to a woody surface. Below him he can see a long and thick branch that could be walked on with no problems. His feet were locked directly onto the trunk of the tree as was his arm, however something is even more wrong with this situation. Devlin's mechanical arm had been removed. |

Devlin awoke to look around, only to notice that he was in prison. Not only that but he seemed to be missing his arm. Devlin realized, not only where these animals the size of dogs but they also apparently had degrees in engineering. Bioengineering too. Well who was he to complain, at least he was back in the arc. Either way he had the problem now of being chained to a tree. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but today with bioengineering as his enemy, he had a problem. Well it would be fun later connecting all his nerves back to his arm for it to work again. Taking that arm off like that wasn't anything like actually cutting off the arm again after all. Again story plot, he couldn't complain. Just grumble and godmod the lack of pain he would normally be in, and maybe even a little godmodding on putting that arm in. Nothing a swift change of camera couldn't do. Oh well. Problem A needed solving first. Devlin looked around and after taking in everything swore a few times and struggled a bit. Nothing like playing one armed Jesus on a tree. He swore as soon as he found his arm, and the ruler of this place he was gonna make sure they knew what it was like to walk around without an arm. That jerk. Still Devlin did have a natural 100 strength of his own to use. He struggled harder against the chain and tree. If he couldn't break the chain he could at least pull it into the tree enough to give him some slack. If nothing else one hundred strength was enough to dent a tree inward a little. Unless the tree was Adam wood then he might be boned. He swore some more as he struggled to loosen himself from the chain. |

(Let's call what I did to your arm torn off at about the elbow joint. It may take you a bit to fix it when you find it but no reconnecting of nerves and such. Oh, and your legs are shackled directly to the tree not with a chain just so you know. Your arm has a short chain.) The chain was creaking when Devlin wrenched them and they might give way with time However the noise that Devlin was making was alerting the other animals and the guards to his struggle. The animals started making noise and a loud hissing brought a long snake that was actually wrapped around the large tree branch so that it's head was right next to its tail to Devlin's attention. |

Devlin looked at the snake and began to utter more non coherent swear words as if maybe just saying a bunch of random swear words might solve his problems. He took his arm stub and brought it into the tree to help accelerate the process of getting free. His stub would still have the same strength as his normal arm at least, and if he splinted the tree up a bit making escaping before a rather angry and large looking snake attacked him. At least out of the Chains he could take on the snake. Though he still needed to find his arm. Being cripple wasn't so fun. Other then he could park in those nifty close to the store places. That was pretty sweet. |

Upon close inspection the snake was struggling against bonds of its own. It's tail and head were forced together and a rattle on its tail was prominent. The chain holding Devlin's arm creaked and finally a link broke and his own strength sent him careening forward and put extreme pressure on his ankles that were latched to the tree. |

Quickly with the first problem gone Devlin brought his stub down into the chain hard to finish the Job and get out. He knew what he would do next. Help his fellow prisoner! Then he would simply get revenge by causing as much chaos as he could till he found whoever was responsible for this, and hit them so hard they would forget who they where. Oh no he was not playing around. Devlin Began to again and again slam hi stub into the chain with all the strength it could. He was gonna make sure he got this one done quick. Really he couldn't do much until he was free other then make up a lot of stuff and make his post look bigger then they were. |
