There is some confusion about plots, protections, zones, warps etc. In this thread, I will attempt to explain things. Not if the majority of people don't like something, I will change it.

Plots

Everyone gets 1 free plot in the city.

Plots are 10 x 10 squares, that includes the fence. However, only inside the fence is protected, so your plot is really 8 x 8. The protection goes all the way down to bedrock, and all the way up to skytop. You may not mine under other's plots.

Outside the City

You may build anything you like outside the city. However, note that it isn't grief proof. I will protect structures outside the city, but to keep things fair I will charge a fee (Which I will later incinerate).

Small Section: Generally anything under 153 for a fee of 4 gold bars
Medium section: Generally anything under 303 for a fee of 8 gold bars
Large Section: Generally anything under 60 x 603 for a fee of 24 gold bars
Massive section: Generally anything under 1003 for a fee of 32 gold bars

Note: After the TradeCraft plugin these prices will probably double.

I may charge slight variations on this, depends on factors like location. Areas over 1003 will not be protected. Something must exist there before protect it, I.e I won't protect an empty field but I will protect castle foundations.

Public Projects

Public projects get a warp set up to them. To qualify as a public project it must:
-Have at least 4 participants
-Not be owned by anyone in particular
-Server some purpose

How about we charge 2 gold per acre, where one acre = one chunk = is 16x16. I believe that's quite fair prices. Also we should refer anyone asking prices to the forums as oppose to simply telling them so the forums get more traffic.

Your policies seem to be quite fair, Oracle, even if I don't plan to take part in much of it. I'm just here to play the game and enjoy the multiplayer experience. I don't plan on participating in all of the "private property" and "buying land" part of the reality that is multiplayer.

Grive protection is a bit of a waste of money, and time in my opinion.
-Best advice is to run far far south of town than make a house, I have 6 major 200 block large houses and 1 small 100 brick plantation in all directions far far away from the spawn.

Why is it 2x the price from 15 to 30 (makes sense) but 4x the price from 30 to 100 which is only a little over 3 times the space?

Preferrably, we don't want enormous sections of the world owned by people. This is to make it alittle harder to buy the universe, if you see what I mean.

The prices shown in the first post are the new more expensive prices, but for today they are the old ones (1/2).

I don't believe the prices are unreasonable, but if people think so they will be changed.
