Just as an idea, i think oracle should delete a large area from the game map several chunks next to each other in the wilderness about once a week. The point of this is too ensure a constant renewal of resources as opposed to have the land go fertile after a while of mining. Just an idea, tell me what you think about this. |

But will cuboid regen the terrain when its re-discovered? as oppose to just having a hole in the ground. |

It doesn't work like that. The way I'd have it set up, is so I designate an area with cuboid that'll regenerate every x hours. |

Will it regen the exact same terrain or a new random set? |

Unfortunately, the exact same. An entirely new regenration set requires plugins that don't exist at the moment, I believe. |

That's why I'm saying delete the chunks from the game save, I'm quite sure that other servers do it, it will just regen new chunks when rediscovered. haven't tested this my self, so if others are familiar with this technique please weigh in. |

i realize this post is a bit old, but something like this would be very useful when we go back to the old map, so that the new materials could be generated, mainly lapus lazuli |
