Interdivisional Games: Red 14 - 10 Blue Spoiler: click to toggle You might have thought that the divisions were uneven and they may be slightly at the bottom (something that could be fixed by swapping the scorgasms or mexico back into red and either the nights or fish 'n chips into blue) I think for the most part that the divisions are competitive with each other. The results are sort of skewed too because WCC was without JRi in the beginning of the season, and Eclipse has had troubles with their roster towards the end of the halfway point. Surprises: The obvious surprise is WCC. I ranked them towards the top of my draft power-rankings (http://s4.zetaboards.com/PHL/topic/8988726/1/) and they repay me by losing the first 5 games or whatever. Not cool dudes. That being said, had I known the situation beforehand going into the season I wouldn't have ranked them so high up, since they were missing JRi, mostly missing negativeBro, and Donovan has been lagging up a storm. Still waiting on some players to break-out (spam/beck/kpop) but WCC since recovering JRi has shown the league that they have what it takes (1-0 eclipse, 1-2 ladyboys) to compete even with rookie goaltender resin. Things I predicted that happened: 1. Scorgasms in last place 2. Order of expansion teams according to points 3. Inactivity from Kush 4. Depth problems for Nights 5. Burritos break-out 6. Eclipse losing first 3 picks 7. m0nstars still being strong 8. with the exception of WCC (because i didnt anticipate their inactivity) i nailed the order of standings if you swap m0nstars and ladyboys. |

Playoff races: Fish 'n Chips: Division red will exclude a team that is strong and belongs in playoffs. Fish 'n Chips has slim chances at the moment, and this is what needs to happen if they have a hope of breaking into the playoffs: Week 4 day1- Fish 'n chips vs. Talladega Nights- This is a huge game for both team's playoff pictures. They are 1 point away from each other, and trailing about 7 points from a playoff spot. A win in regulation will gain them at least 2 points of ground onto playoff-bound teams (since Kush and Cats play vs. each other). Ideally they would be gaining 3 points of ground on two teams (Eclipse vs. Ladyboys I expect Ladyboys to continue their undefeated streak) which puts either team only about 2 games back if they win in regulation. Week 4 day2- Fish 'n chips need to win in regulation against the Scorgasms, because it's likely that the Cats win over Mexico. Fish 'n chips will have to root for the PEEMASTERS to take points off of Kush, if not beat them outright. Likely, Fish 'n chips need the win in regulation in order to not lose ground. Week 4 day3- Huge game vs. Eclipse at this point. If Eclipse are 1-1 at this point in the week, they'll have 17 points, and if Fish 'n chips are 2-0 then they will have 13 points, which means if Fish 'n chips get a win here they will be wither 18-15 or 17-16, both scenarios 1 game behind. Week 5 day1- if Fish go 3-0 in week 4, a win vs. mexico will push them over the edge, especially when you consider that they stand to gain points on Kush/Eclipse since they are playing against each other 2 games in a row. Week5 day2- I think that this is one of the most important games for Fish 'n chips, because not only will winning this cement them into the playoffs, but it will also be a good chance for them to see if they have what it takes to take down the m0nstars should they meet in the playoffs (which they are probably likely to meet in the 1st round). Week5 day3- Another vital win for the Fish 'n chips. must win for fish 'n chips: Nights, scorgasms, mexico big games to determine playoff picture: eclipse, kush do what you can and take what you get: m0nstars, burritos sportsclubstats has Fish 'n Chips at 5% to make playoffs at the moment, but imo the real percentage is a lot higher than that. Wild cards- Eclipse lost lance, and I think kiss kiss. If Eclipse doesn't pull their shit together, then we could see Fish 'n chips just walking into the playoffs. |

blue division's race is too unstable and close for me to call it. my gut is to go with WCC and PEEMASTERS, but Mexico just shocked everyone with a 3-0 win over the Burritos, and I wouldn't doubt that Virt could put together an impressive team. |
