I'm trying to compile some objective data so that I can rate all the players, and I've started with all the games from last season but it's a time consuming process. I have to do the games in order to maintain the integrity of the data, but if anyone wants to help there's a way to cut out some of the time that I have to spend by gathering the data that I'll need to enter eventually. This is way easier than compiling regular stats and once I get caught up it'll probably be really easy to keep up with it and honestly, who doesn't want more useless statistics to prove how good or bad they are at this internet game? This is what I would need: You watch past games (either via replay or via the VOD). You list the players that played in the first half for each side, and then record W/L/T for that half (according to goal differential). Then you do the same thing for the second half. Then, you do the same thing for the overtime (if there is one). If you do it via replays, you can speed the process up by starting multiple replays at once and then recording all the data replay by replay rather than doing it start to finish for each replay. You can skip around on VODs which helps in terms of saving time if you do it with that method. I need all the data in chronological order, but if multiple people are helping me with it then obviously we should be starting in different places. It'd probably be best if you keep track of the date that the games were played on, because that'll be really helpful for adding all the data up. I've already done the first day of games, June 20, and if you have some time that you'd like to kill then feel free to pick a day and do it (keep me updated day-by-day so that you don't release 2 weeks of data that I've already done. Ty in advance to anyone who helps, and once I am done with this I'll probably do a write up or answer questions about the ratings or something. |

So here's the sort of format that I got for the first day of games: June 20 martintyler T maod T m0ng0l T froz3n T katyperry T jri T joe T negbro T katyperry T jri T joe T negativebro T martintyler T maod T hatchetharry T froz3n T katyperry W jri W joe W negbro W martintyler L froz3n L hatchetharry L m0ng0l L etc. remember I need it in order according to the halves played (first half, second half, then OT if necessary) altho the order of the games doesn't matter. Also if you can give me summary stats too at the end, like for this last game it would be MT 3GP 0W 1L 2T that would be double awesome If a team does a sub during the game things get a little bit fuzzier. Count the GD of when that player was in (for example, if someone lets in a goal and is subbed out, it counts as a loss for them. likewise if a player scores a goal to put their team up 1-0, and then is subbed out, count that as a win) and mark them accordingly for the result for while they are in the game.
