The Badlands are an active volcanic area located in southwestern Ghosu. The very ground here is hot to the touch, and in some areas, your boots will be set ablaze due to the heat. The land gets its name for the savageries committed in this area. Packs of pokemon are frequently at war, and territories are fiercely guarded.

Towns

Regular Forum Highwald City
Photobucket
Highwald City is a large town located on the western outskirts of the Biron Rainforest, built on a cliff overlooking the plains with a few waterfalls cascading downwards. The city is a relatively peaceful town, and is home to a zeppelin dock, allowing trade from neighboring cities and refuge for zeppelins. While they harbor zeppelins, the steampunk ideals are not that common here, and large granite domed structures are the dominant architecture.

Regular Forum Aldgate City
Photobucket
Located south of the Biron Rainforest, Aldgate City is built atop a massive tree, once tended to by an ancient order of druids. Now, the magic persists, and the immense tree is home to thousands. The tree rapidly regrows any wood cut from it, and as a result, the city is the primary hub of zeppelin production, trade and activity. From the ground, it is truly a wonder to behold. The tree itself is called Njorndrassil.

Regular Forum Port Fairway
Photobucket
Port Fairway is the only city influencial in naval activities. Trade with island nations has halted due to ravenous sea creatures and pirate attacks. The city itself is nestled in a large cove, rocky cliffs on either side. The beach is a fair walk away from Fairway. Hundreds of ships are moored in it's expansive piers. Ships are incredibly cheap due to the dangers of the sea, and a bag of gold can get you an entire galleon. Poverty is the common in this town compared to the others in Ghosu, and crime is around every corner, promoted by a multitude of thieves, murderers and drunkards.

Aelbourne is the pinnacle of technology in the Ghosu region. The town is nicknamed "The City of Wind" due to the massive wind towers that dominate the skyline. There is a bustling zeppelin harbor, and the Scrapyard is less then a few dozen miles from this pristine city. This city is also the headquarters of the Engineering Guild.

Regular Forum Hollowedge Town
Photobucket
This small town borders between the Shadowlands and the Badlands. It is remarkably positioned on a pillar surrounded by lava rivers. The natural defenses have proven useful against the hostile environment. A lone bridge connects the town to the outside world. The majority of buildings are made out of stone or a cement made out of ash. Water is scarce here.

Regular Forum Korinawa Village
Photobucket
This extremely small village is located in the dead center of the plains. Though it is under the airways of most zeppelins, which can be seen travelling through the air from this tiny village, it gets very few guests aside from wandering traders and the occasional stray traveler. The main population consists of dark-skinned, primitive people. They do not care much for technology, and instead stick to traditions and tribal magic.

Gorneda is a large castle situated along Mount Cloud Peak. There is a small village around it, but the castle is known for it's incredibly strong defenses. There are several catapults manned at all times on its large, sturdy towers. Blacksmiths are hard at work here, and you can constantly here the 'Clink Clink Clink' as they hammer away at metal. The surrounding mountains give it incredible beauty.
