Listening intently to what he had to say, Brianna rested her head in her palm as he explained the use of this particular room. She quickly sat back up when the Alakazam had entered the room. She had never seen one up close before... It was quite a mystifying Pokemon.

"Uhh-- Water, please." she answered, nodding her head in gratitude before taking another quick glance about the room. She wondered for a moment what kind of books Ryojin had beyond the door behind him. To Brianna, books were fascinating. She loved to read.

Meanwhile, the Riolu was still pacing along the wall like a caged Luxray, hoping to find some way through. He knew he sensed the Pokemon on the other side... He just had to figure out a way to get through. There might have been a door somewhere nearby, though he didn't want to move away from the Pokemon now that he had located it. But as it was, he was stuck. No way through.

Shivers were suddenly sent traveling up and down Raylen's spine as he sensed that very same Haunter, still following him to torment him. The Riolu spread his feet apart and growled threateningly, hoping to scare off the wild Pokemon. When it appeared, Raylen pulled back his paw as it began glowing, and then he thrust it forward to strike the Haunter.

His paw went straight through the ghost Pokemon as it laughed continually. Now very frightened indeed, Raylen bolted down the corridor, still trying to escape the terror of the Haunter that was apparently haunting him.

"Hmm Verywell then One Tea And Another water..." The male would have said watching the pokemon slowly fade off from the corridor, the male would have then shifted his eyes back down to the female infront of him..before speaking.."So..Tell me about the issues that you're having about this whole fiasco..Im most sure that you have alot of conflicting feelings..this is a very big thing,BUT I think that you might have what it takes ..I mean after all your intrest in knowledge will take you further then ever..." The male would have said putting his hands onto the chair as he would have relaxed comfortably, his eyes seeming to look at the female with soft stairs, wondering what she could have possibly been dealing with that had made her so unsure of decision..The male used these words in a attempt to draw these words out...

Brianna shifted in her seat, trying to make herself more comfortable in the rather uncomfortable situation. "Well... Uh..." she struggled to grasp even her own thoughts and turn them into words. With a few deep breaths she started over; "I-I'm really not so sure about anything right now... I keep waiting for something to go wrong. I-I just..." she paused, rubbing her arm insecurely as she tried to regather her scattered thoughts.

She was trying to weigh the benefits and the risks... if there were any. So far, she hadn't heard of much of a downside, except for the fact that she would have to warm up to the creepy appearance of the man. That wouldn't be too hard, she figured. She had always been taught not to judge by appearance. But then again, Raylen didn't like Ryojin much, and the Riolu didn't judge by appearance at all, he judged by the aura he sensed.

Oh, what the heck? Brianna finally sighed to herself. There couldn't be any harm in giving it a try, could there? She sat up straight and assured herself to have confidence in her decision.

"I would like to help you in your research from time to time, but I'm not ready to commit to another team just yet. Besides, I am still just beginning as a trainer, and I've got more Pokemon that I wish to catch." She held out her hands in an honest gesture, hoping the man would see her reasoning.

The Haunter was gone, wasn't it? Or was it...? Raylen didn't stop to look around, he just keep running. He didn't want to ever see-- or sense another ghost again. He came upon a door and quickly reached for the handle, struggling to get it open before the ghost caught up to him. After a bit of wrestling with it, the door finally opened and Raylen bolted into the room, slamming the door shut behind him and breathing a sigh of relief.

"Glad you decided to actually work with me and im sure that in no time you will see that working with me will also help yuo learn more about pokemon and how to catch them, then hopefully after that, you'll consider joining Team Venom with me and the rest of the people who have taken this step.." The male would have seemed to understand her very clearly, but nothing a little bit of hospitality and persuasion couldn't do to lighten things up between the two,he would have seemed to shift his eyes over to the door as it would have turned..The male would have then seemed to watch as it would have cracked open, the Alakazam back with the beverages it would have walked up to the female first handing her's to her, then to the male handing him his drink also...

Ryojin took a simple sip of his tea, pinky out,the fancy charade and after that the male would have set it down on the coffe table next to his chair before speaking to the female simply.."And also, its a very good expirience for Riolu ..Once you start to understand how pokemon work you learn the proper way to evolve them, train them who to fight them with AND..How to fight even when the odds are against you." The male would have then lifted his tea to his lips taking another sip before putting it back down, clasping his hands together as he continued to speak .."For Example,My Monferno has never been defeated by a Water pokemon Nor Ice pokemon ever in it's life..Simply because there are some moves that yes indeed are effective, but not enough to severly damage you..You should dodge the ones that matter, and take blows from the ones that don't,to effectively counter them with moves in situations that eliminate the pokemons abilities to attack and therefore limit there chances of winning.." The males words sounding logical as if he would have written his own book about them, his eyes never left the females face while he spoke this, seeming to have tried to get a point across to her,but then he would have changed the subject speaking to her in a more gentle matter.."But,you'll see in due to Child, just how fun it will be.."

Though she still wasn't so sure about ever joining a team again, Brianna was happy to see that he had approved of her decision. When the Alakazam returned with the drinks she gladly accepted her water, bowing her head and thanking the Pokemon. She liked to talk to Pokemon the same as she would to people.

As Ryojin began to speak again, Brianna leaned forward and listened with interest, nearly reaching the point to where she was hanging on every word. If she could really learn to battle the way he was explaining, then...

Then she would be practically unbeatable. Even so, she was still more interested in learning about Pokemon themselves. How fantastic it would be if she could call herself a part-time researcher!

She took a sip of her water and set it down on the nearby table, then sat up and held out her hands. "So, where do I start?" she asked with an excited grin.

In the meantime, Raylen was still dealing with other things...

It was so dark in this new area, it was hard to see. The Riolu had to rely on his other senses rather than his sight alone.

And speaking of senses, he could feel the distressed Pokemon's aura much stronger than he could before. It was as though it was literally in the same room. Raylen looked around for a light-switch, hoping that he could find the other Pokemon once the area was lit up. He could faintly make out what looked like a button on the wall. He leaped upward and pushed it, then waited for the lights to come on...

"Hmmm..Well maybe sometime from now we can hold a little expirement at the Mire,it has some rather Dark pokemon and im looking for a dusclops.Even so,it will be your chance to catch some pokemon also, and maybe even train with me for a bit.'' The male stopped his sentence to drink his tea once more,he knew the female had showed some what of a promise and he was very glad to see that she would be giving this new way of learning about pokemon a try,the male would have looked at the Toxicroak who had been there for about the whole conversation in complete silence,he would have then spoken .."Speaking of her pokemon, how about you go check up on our guest? He might be scared, confused, lost or a combination of the three and we wouldn't want him wandering places where he rather not be."The male would have said, watching the Toxicroak nod to him before seeming to walk off out of the door...

Toxicroak had later arrived in the hallways again, seeming to search for the pokemon, not to hunt him,but to merely make sure he was minding his own business, things where going smoothly and there was no need to let him blow it now,or so atleast that's what Toxicroak was thinking his trainer had on his mind.Toxicroaks stare peered past through the dark nearly seeing almost to the end of the other wall,he began to walk through the corridor silently, but there was a distinct rumble from his feet onto the cold floor...

"T-train? With you?" Brianna stammered, a bit startled by the suggestion. True, she was sure it would be quite a learning experience to train with Ryojin, but the thought of battling with him gave her chills. The only Pokemon she had so far was her Riolu, and he surely wasn't ready for a battle against this man and his powerful Pokemon. She nervously ran her fingers around the rim of her glass and sighed. "You should know that my Pokemon hasn't won any battles as of yet. It's still... on the weak side. He and I both have a lot to learn." She stared at her drink, tapping the glass lightly, creating ripples in the water.

When Toxicroak was sent to locate her Riolu again, she could tell he wasn't out to harm it this time... Or at least, that's what she'd hoped. The Poison type looked very intimidating, and could surely take Raylen down with just a few well-placed attacks. Hopefully Raylen hadn't gotten himself into any trouble...

"Trouble" was an understatement in this case. The Riolu had finally found the source of the distressed aura he kept sensing, but he was almost sorry that he did. The sight was almost too much for his innocent mind to grasp. Things had gone from creepy, to eerie, to just plain horrifying. He backed up against the wall and shook his head, covering his eyes and hoping that by the time he opened them again the terrible sight would be gone... But he knew that wasn't the case.

Besides, closing his eyes only seemed to make his other senses stronger. Now instead of looking at the other Pokemon, he was feeling it. The grief... the pain...

It had to be stopped. Raylen had to do something-- anything to help this poor Pokemon... But what could he possibly do? Even if he were to go fetch Brianna, she wouldn't understand a thing he had to say. Besides, she was probably sitting down with that creepy man, having a cup of tea. The Riolu looked sympathetically towards the trapped Pokemon, then covered his eyes again as he whimpered, unsure of what to do.

Toxicroak walked through out the hallways before seeming to here a thump against a wall, looking at the wall his eyes seemed to dim angrily as he had noticed which wall it was,the wall of the pokemon they had been hiding, his body quickly rushed through out the hall way heading speedily for the door on the other side of the corridor,he knew this time he would get rid of the Riolu, without making noise....

That was for sure....

But in the meantime ...Ryojin had seemed to shift his eyes at the female while she stared blankly at the water, almost feeling a bit of remorse for the female the male would have spoken .."Don't worry about that, you will learn how to train with him and use the enviorment to fight for you,you should never rely on your pokemon to do all the work but the air and the rocks and even the resources around you,the battle itself and everywhere it is held is the weapon child, not the pokemon..." The male had spoken these words from experience and it was obvious, just by the way that he had said it....

Ryojin simply patted his fingers together, one against the other as he would have then looked towards the female with a rather reassuring look, attempting to brighten her mood even though she couldn't see his face well,he knew it still helped to atleast show some confidence in her.

Brianna seemed to think over Ryojin's words carefully, reasoning with them in her mind as she tried to apply them to her own situations. It did sound rather clever, she wondered why she'd never heard anyone else say it to her before. Perhaps this man was simply more brilliant than she had first given him credit for.

She gave a quick nod in understanding. "Basically, the Pokemon and trainer have to rely on wit more than their own strength... Is that right?" she gave a small smile, hoping she was following him correctly.

It did make sense. If your Pokemon was weaker than your opponent, it would be much like a David-and-Goliath situation. But as the story goes, it was the little guy who won in the end. Maybe she really did have a chance at winning against stronger trainers..? Either way, one thing was certain: She wanted to know more about this new way of thinking through battles. She once again set her glass down and looked up to Ryojin. "Can you teach me?"

There was another aura in the area... A familiar one, but not familiar in a comforting way. Raylen's heart began thumping hard in his chest as he panicked, knowing exactly who it was. His ruby gaze frantically scanned the room for a place to hide, hoping to somehow escape Toxicroak's wrath, but there weren't many concealing places in the area. Maybe he could run? Yeah, that might work. Riolu were known for their ability to run fast for long periods of time.

But as he began to flee, he heard a soft cry come from the trapped Pokemon. He paused and glanced back at it, almost feeling the pain it was going through, what could a little Riolu like himself possibly do?

He could stand his ground... and possibly die. Or he could run and get back to Brianna so they could just leave this place. But what if they were to come back? He would have to deal with knowing that his trainer had trusted a man wicked enough to do this to a Pokemon...

His decision was made. Though his knees were knocking against each other and his whole body trembled, the Riolu turned back around and planted his feet firmly to the floor, not willing to leave the Pokemon trapped and in pain.

Speaking of pain, he wondered how much he would be feeling once Toxicroak was through with him.

.."Hmmm..well yes of course....I wouldn't have a problem with this..." The male would have said tapping his finger against his cup before lifting it to his head to take another drink, his eyes seeming to fall back to her as the cup had fell from his head and back to the lap of the male...The male would have seemed to to reflect on all that had happened and then within a few a moments he began to speak again to the female with a regular tone of his, which remained emotionless..."Hmmm But of course you will still have to do alot of research before you understand the correct method of which I would teach you.." ...He said all this while meantime the heat between the two pokemon was just about to heat up...

Toxicroak busted into the door,it flying open..This time the look on his face was purely Wry..Sickening to the core, his eyes seeming to have signed a contract with the devil, the blood lust within his eyes explained it all as he knew that he could have his way with the intruder, the Toxicroak stuck his arms out, with a lustful rage,he was ready to begin....

Without hesitation the Toxicroak closed the door behind him,as he would have turned his head speaking to the Riolu.."I told you..Mind your business, now you will never have the chance to tell your precious trainer just what you've found out.." while his eyes seemed to be filled with lust and hate, his mouth never moved,it stayed cringed yet low almost as if he had felt this feeling all to well before,Toxicroak had a twisted path,he had seen the true side of Ryojin, the evil side, the side that drove Toxicroak crazy, the one that shaped him into the fighter he trully was,the side that made him who he was,the side that made him this strong....

The Toxicroak simply spoke as he would have walked forwards to the Riolu..."So tell me...Do you want me to poison you until you're completley stunned? Chop you in half with my forearms until barf up your silly poke block and berries,or should I kick you around until you learn when it's time to keep your nose out of business?" The Pokemon cracked his knuckles while he came into range with the pokemon ...
