I'm making a program in Visual Basic to launch games from GOG.com instead of having a crapload of shortcuts on your computer. I'll extend it to any game once I figure out a few things, like adding games. Right now I can only add games by editing the program itself. I hope to use a database with each game registered by a .gog file, which will be a normal XML but the extension is just for differentiation. So far I have a section for the games, the extras, and the site itself (Using SSL). I could steal some methods from the DBGL but I'm cooler than that. |
