Humanoids. The Humanoids, named so after the body shape of the common human, are a group of 3 species (however, 2 of these have sub-species, making 6 in total) who are probaly the most dominant in Padania and several other kingdoms. While originally the 4 species making up the group known as the "Ferals" were most dominant in the land (for the kingdoms had not been established yet), the early, primitive Humanoid species evolved, and they relied less and less on the land itself and began to develop technology, building cities and urban environments inwhich to work and live, excluding the Ferals. While the Ferals have not decreased in numbers, they seem to be treated as second class to the Humanoids, who have their many well established religions and cultures, while most Ferals continue to live in remote locations in their isolated clans and tribes, following basic rituals. No Humanoids are actually native to Padania, a few groups of them having moved to the recently discovered lands after the first Myriastone war (where the Ferals were still the most powerful), and in the present days Humanoids have flourished across Padania (however, when the Humanoids first came to Padania, the native Ferals suffered greatly, especially the Drakols (aswell as Dragons and Wyverns), yet eventually the two groups of species are in a state of peace (except a few Drakols, who still dislike the Humanoids). The humanoid species in Padania are made up of:
Note that several species, both Feral and other, would seem to be Humanoid but are excluded from the group, due to either being to simmiliar to animals/creatures or due to their primal, beast-like nature and personalities. Edited by GrumpyGreeble, Dec 20 2010, 11:57 PM.

Humans.![]() The humans are probaly the most common race, in Padania and the majority of kingdoms. The majority of humans almost immediately joined with the elves who started the Humanoid Revolution period, unlike their more primal relatives the Informis. In general, humans are a very advanced race, having invented many types of weaponry, armour, building methods and more. While most of the time, humans are quite peaceful, they occasionaly enjoy finding and claiming new lands: of course, the land they find and claim is often already occupied, so humans are sometimes involved in minor-scale conflicts or wars, which are often won by humans due to their large numbers. While they are probably the most common race in Padania, the humans are not actually native, like all the Humanoid species. In terms of attributes, Humans are well balanced due to being rather simple biologically compared to other races. As such, humans don't often excel in one skill more then others, though occasionaly humans become much more bound to a single skill, and several humans who seem to be more skilled at magic or hand-to-hand combat, etc. have popped up in history. Elves. The elves are also a very common race and there are many types of them (a very small amount is shown on the picture above). Elves have a very advanced biology which allows them to adapt and evolve to fit their environment rather quickly, yet almost all species have pointed ears. Of the many types of elf, only about half of them are actually classed as Humanoids, as the others have either not evolved to the point of being inteligent enough to be classed as humanoid, or have devolved due to their environment. It was several species of Humanoid Elves who started the Humanoid Revolution period. Of the many Elven species, only three are present in Padania: High Elves, Dark Elves and Wood Elves. High Elves: The High Elves are a race of tall, yellow-skinned elves. They tend to live in more urban environments such as cities, and are most often upper-class in society. High Elves are not extremely skilled physicaly, in terms of strength, speed, agility, etc. yet are generally very inteligent and talented at most forms of magic. High Elves are a direct descendant of a race of elves known as the Nyeoia, who were the original Elven species and were very dominant, being one of the first species to set up hierachy and settlements, but eventually died out or evolved into the High Elves as the other Humanoid species rose to power (this origin however has allowed most High Elves to keep upper-class ranking, and makes many of them feel superior to other elves and species). High Elves are one of the Elven species who started the period of Humanoid Revolution. Dark Elves: The Dark Elves are a species of Elves who are quite dominant, originating from the kingdom of Porxemvu aswell as their cousins, Night Elves. Dark Elves are physically simmiliar to humans in terms of size, height, build and strength, yet have skin in colours of grey, blue and purple. Dark Elves are skilled at crafting weapons and tools, and often make good battlemages due to their natural skill at Arcane magic. Dark Elves often live in mountainous or desert regions, and often set up mining settlements, where they pay peasents or force slaves to work. However, the Dark Elves of Padania are a sort of joke among their relatives in other kingdoms, and are often called Tunnel Elves: Dark Elves are usually elegant, mysterious and upper-class, while the Dark Elves who make their homes in Mining Settlements in the Stone Lands often go to work in the mines themselves like common peasents. However, upper-class Dark Elves are not unheard of in Padania, and some can be found in Durimal and Senferia. Dark Elves are one of the Elven species who started the period of Humanoid Revolution. Wood Elves: A race of elves who fight to keep themselves classed as Humanoid. The Wood Elves are rather short, yet very agile and swift, forest-dwellers who mostly make their homes in tree houses, rafts on swamps and other nature-related settlements. Wood Elves do sometimes live in cities or more urban environments, but mostly they tend to stay in their settlements, getting almost all they need from nature. Wood Elves are not the most skilled at magic, yet if a Wood Elf does become a mage they make excellent Druids (infact, in alot of Wood Elf settlements, Druids sometimes take on the role of village elders). Wood Elves are short, are very fast and very acrobatic, and have skin in shades of peach/white (simmiliar to that of some humans) and green. Wood Elves did not take part in the Humanoid Revolution period, yet over time they have spread across the Grand Folium and taken up residence in the part of the huge forest that is located in Padania.
