The Island of Dominion |
![]() |
Kingfisher's Creek
Just North of the city is a small body of water, a swamp despite what the name would imply. The murky waters extend for about a square mile in all directions, with trees and their roots weeding in and out of the liquid like parasites in rotting flesh. At the very center of the place is a pillar with a perch upon it, where it is rumoured that the Kingfisher stays.

Hunter's Forest
It stretches throughout the island. It is dark, and forbidding. At night, eyes as red as coals watch those foolish enough to walk through the trees. People generally do not go through the forest unless sorely pressed to, due to the aggressive nature of both flora and fauna and the habit of people getting lost within the wild branches. With over 70 square miles of forest, it's a lot to get lost in.

Cape of Saint Erasmus
On the southeast corner of the island, about a mile's walk from Port Wreckage, is the Cape of Saint Erasmus. So named for the patron saint of sailors, the cape is one of the best fishing spots on the island, and sports a rare grove of flowers known as Ambrosius somnia, or the Dreamflowers to those who prefer laymen's terms that makes it very popular to those willing to make a trek through the Hunter's Forest

Northern Peninsula
Attached to the main body of the island is a northern peninsula, coated in forest like the mainland but mountainous as well. The land dips and waves, and the creatures seem slightly friendlier, for some peculiar reason.

Bob's Autoshop & Gas
A small little automotive shop just outside both Dominion and Lotville, not very much goes on here. The owner Bob has a reputation for being grumpy, and some say he was the very first person to ever be dragged here, though for what, no one knows why.

Retzei Beach
A small, sandy beach that's popular with residents in the summer. Small islands, too small to support life, dot the vast sea in the distance, and the coast on the other side is too far to see. Overlooking the beach is a series of cliffs made of limestone, which hosts a small drive in theatre and the infamous make-out point.

Dominion |
![]() |
Dominion
The main city itself. Though not too far from Lotville, the feeling of being judged is less constant here, but you're still no less in danger. Non descript businessmen bustle down the streets at a brisk pace, and the police officers eye you intensely. Sleek concrete sky scrapers rise into the sky, and various other buildings dot around the place, possibly simply just to fill space.

Chariot Rail
A subway that every once in a while brings in new members to our little community! Of course, sometimes they aren't quite so willing to come, so heavily armed guards are always present at the station.

The Hospital
Every once in a while, someone acts up and gets themselves killed. No worries, though, as they end up right here to be checked out by their respective family. Faint screams occasionally come from the hospital, but that's only from the patients who need a "special" fix.

City Hall
Here's where the Mayor does his business, or so you think. You don't know whether there really IS a mayor or not. He or she never seems to be around. As you enter, you get the strangest feeling you're going to die horribly. You REALLY shouldn't be here.

School of King David
A school going all the way from kindergarten to grade 12, this is where all the youngsters from Dominion go to get their education. The teachers here are all smiles, but be sure to pay attention and get all your homework done. Children who misbehave too much tend to disappear for a few days and show up rather shaken in some dark alley.

Mr. Daisy's Malt Shop
Owned by Mrs. Daisy's apparent husband, this Malt Shop serves as a hang out for teenagers and lovebirds. Careful what you say in here, though, or you might find something funny in your drink.

The Buffer
The part of the city dividing the Sinner's Refuge from Dominion, the Buffer is home to the more adult side of Dominion, showing the city isn't completely devoid of pleasure. Several office buildings do fill up space, but social clubs and all sorts of other things dot this part of the city. Rules are less strict here to keep people happy, though being seen here at a younger age does raise suspicions.

Nazareth's Vineyard
A rather high-end bar, yet simultaneously the only real bar in Dominion, Nazareth's Vineyard caters to Dominion's drinking population with a variety of American and British beers, wines, and other such drinks. Be careful to stay sober, though, as the bouncers are some of the nastiest you'll find.

Dominion Steel Mill
The largest employer in the city, Dominion's Steel Mill is large, smelly, and loud, and a hazard to work in, but it pays well and keeps people occupied. Sometimes teenagers break in at night to horse around, though if they caught by the security, they'll definitely be sorry.

Sinner's Refuge |
![]() |
Sinner's Refuge
A part of the city cordoned off by the "citizens" who got tired of this bullshit city and decided to fight back. The buildings are decrepit, and strange, horrible creatures stalk the streets, and gunfire is always blazing. The smell of death fills the air, but the sense of dread and judgment is gone. Instead, you're much more afraid something's going to eat you.

The Commune
A bunch of old apartment buildings, here is where all the rebels in the city live. Eyes are always watching you here, but they're normally human. The doors to each building are heavily guarded, much like the windows. It looks like even in human territory, you're gonna have to watch your step. Typical, huh?

Damien's Place
Here's where Damien, head of the rebels ("sinners"), lives. It's actually a former church, converted into a sort of palace for the man and his cohorts. There is something seriously offputting about the place, however, and you actually get the feeling you might be safer in the "proper" part of the city over this place.

Peaceful Grove
The grass here is green, the trees are lush. Nothing here judges you, not a thing. You finally feel safe here, but you know you have to go back. But no one said anything about when you had to be back. It'd be quite fine to take a breather here.
