Today's Forecast: It is very warm and sunny. Not a cloud in the sky, it is the perfect day, whether you're a socialite sipping tea in the garden, or a pirate sailing to the next town for a raid. |

RPing Resources - By Lola June and I thought it might be useful to have a list of links that might be helpful. Ya know, to help them get used to the RP and what not. Of course, always read the rules, Joining PI for Dummies, Intergrating yourself into the RP, Admins' (those with bold and italicized names) apps and posts, etc. a good site to get youself into the right mindframe, along with giving you a basic idea of RPing (I know it's Dungeons and Dragons, but the same basic ideas apply) help in creating a character here's another site for creating characters. HOWEVER, some of the things that is says, such as you being the ultimate god, do not always apply because this is an RP with other people and rules. just keep that in mind while you read great chart for describing emotions grammar tips what we think you need to know about grammar creative writing tips (once again, this is more for stories and books than role playing, but the same basic ideas still hold true) tips for plotting and of course, C-Box etiquette. (this doesn't apply so much to our cbox, but it's good etiquette rules in general) If anyone else has any good sites, you are more than welcome to post them here to help out other members! |
