The Big Rules: No spamming/swearing anywhere on the forum, or using words in a hateful way. There is an exception for swearing in the spam pit, but try not to, anyway. No Bumping Topics - Bumping means posting in a topic that has not been posted in for 7 days. Bumping a topic will result in a warning for 1st timers; after that, it's a 3-day ban. Don't tell us it's a 1st offense if it's not; we arn't retards  No Impersonating Other Animators - This was a problem in Barfs' last forum, any impersonating of any other members (even pretending to be someone little known) will result in an instant IP ban. No Stealing Animations - People work hard on their animations, and taking them and claiming that they are your own is just wrong. There will be a 5 day ban for every stolen animation. ---------------- Now continued on by Barfs  The Smaller Rules No: - Linking to any prank sites/videos, or any form of tricking somebody into going into an unintended site. This includes Rick Rolls, and that old guy... "goatse". There is an expection for harmless Rick Roll/harmless trick links in the spam pit. - Multi-accounting, making 2 accounts or more. If you have a brother/sister signing up, then PM a mod/admin to clear things up ahead of time. - Posting any member's real life information without their approval. - Impersonating other members of the forum (ex. making an account called "Tox1cryan") - Making a topic to discuss another topic. - Posting in ALL CAPS - Advertising your own pivot forum. You can only advertise your own forum in your signature, all other areas are off limits. - Trying to smartass your way around any of the rules. --------------- Locked Topics Yes, there are even rules for locked topics. The first rule, or fact, is you cannot unlock them if you are not a mod or an admin. You cannot, even if you try your hardest, unlock a locked topic on your own. Of course, this does not apply to mods/admins. Now, if you are the owner of a locked topic, and you believe that it should be unlocked, then we have a special form thingy for you to fill out. If you wish to have a topic unlocked, then you must fill out this form and send it either to a moderator or administrator. Don't worry, we won't eat you
----------------- Just because a rule isn't here doesn't mean you can do it. Say there's normally a rule against eating jello, but it isn't listed here. That doesn't mean you can eat the entire freaking bowl of jello; you'll still be penalized. (by the way, there's no rule against jello )
