Although a secluded forest, looks are deceiving for this one. Acreage Forest pays homage to a very popular contest that first originated in the United States of America - the Magikarp catching contest! The rules are simple. Cast your Rod - an Old Rod is provided to you automatically - into the fishing hole. When you hook a Pokemon(it is always Magikarp) it is up to you to weaken it with your Pokemon and catch it with your own PokeBalls. Your Magikarp must stand out (in the area of weight) among the other entrants' Magikarp. The entrants are all other people controlled by your updator. 1st Prize is the Magikarp you caught, plus Shiny Powder applied to it(the Magikarp you got will be shiny). In addition, an extra 3,000PD and a Water Stone. 2nd Prize is the Magikarp you caught, 1,500PD, and 3 Net Balls. 3rd Prize is the Magikarp you caught and 1,000PD. If you didn't place, the consolation prize is just the Magikarp you caught. |
