Kassie entered the city, and immediatly headed to the pokemon center. She wanted to rest up her pokemon and herself in preperation for the upcoming battle against the gym leader. She also hoped to get a few trainer battles in while in the town. |

Indeed, Nickelback ftw. Anyway, after resting up your Pokemon, you decided to take a quick nap, only to find the city in turmoil. The new team's faces, Team Nova, decided to show themselves to the world after years of seclusion. Or something like that. The first grunt out of the three sent out a Glameow. |

Kassie decided it would be best to start off with Cubia as it had recently evolved. She called out her Porygon 2 and asked it to start off with Psybeam attack. She was determined to beat this grunt. |

Porygon2 did 18 damage with its Psybeam. Glameow retaliated with Scratch, for a mere 6 damage. - 29/35 [7] - 12/30 [7]

Kassie praised Cubia and asked it to use Psybeam again. Kassie liked cat pokemon, but knew that this one was not worth liking as it belonged to a grunt from a bad team. Kassie was certain however that she could defeat this grunt. |

Kassie choose to keep Cubia out to battle. She called to Cubia to use Psybeam against the Staryu. She knew that Staryu would recieve normal damage, as it doesn't gain the psychic type until it evolves. |

Kassie praised her Cubia greatly. She was proud of how strong it was becoming. Kassie called to Cubia to use Psybeam again. She was confident in her young pokemon, and knew it would try its best. Kassie hoped to one day make Cubia the strongest PorygonZ it could be, though that meant evolving it again first. |

(SE, your damage is off, at two hardens, Staryu would be still getting damage of 5) Kassie called to Cubia to continue Psybeam attack. She was determined to beat the Staryu. She knew that Cubia would be able to do it's best. |

(I thought that since Psybeam is a special move, and harden affects defense, that The hardens would not affect the damage overall. I'll change it then.) 8 damage. After the psybeam, the Staryu attempted a tackle, but missed. 35/35 [7] 5/30 + 2 DEF [8]

(Yeah, hardens don't affect special moves, my point was that 1 point of damage wasn't enough. I'll recalculate, because I added the defense increase, but it's definetly over 1.) Kassie praised Cubia, and asked it to continue Psybeam attack. She knew that Cubia would continue trying it's best for her. She also knew that Staryu would be going down. (SE, part of the problem is that you aren't updating the damage at all.) Edit:(Just calculated, it would be 8 damage.) |

(Sorry, been distracted a bit with helping my sister on some work... Also, how do you calculate exp, because no one has told me.) The Staryu was KIA, and the grunt sent out an Exeggcute.  35/35 [8]

(Ace said over MSN that he did it random) Kassie grinned, happy that she had recently taught Cubia a special Move. Kassie called to Cubia to use Icy Wind attack on the Exeggcute. She knew that with it being part grass type, that it would have a good effect on the egg pokemon. |
