As you an Edge continue through the town to make your way over to battle some wild pokemon a trainer stops you. "Hey there thats a nice chimchar you got there I bet if I battled you I could beat it though. Come on out squirtle!" The trainer sent out a squirtle. (you have to give him/her a name as it is your rival)

Leer weakened squirtles defence by one point. "Not bad but you haven't seen anything yet! Squirtle use tackle!" Tackle did 4 damage chimchar 20/24 squirtle 24/24 (-1 defence) |

Scratch did 7 in damage aganist squirtle. "Squirtle attack with your tail whip! This way we'll be on an even standings!" Leo called out Chimchars defence went down by one point. chimchar 20/24 -1 defence squirtle 17/42 -1 defence |

Chimchar used scratch again for another 7 in damage. "Squirtle you go in there too with your tackle attack! Tackle landed a hit for 7 damage against chimchar. chimchar 13/24 -1 defense squirtle 10/24 -1 defense |
