 Finally across that long, boring bridge of Branaduin, or whatever it was called, Quen ent and healed his pokemon's miniscule injuries at the Pokemon Center, and when he exited the front door, he saw the town being ransacked by wild pokemon. Lacking anything better to do, he decided to fight the rogues, and sent out Genera to use an Air Slash on the Croagunk that popped up in front of him.

 Ready for the gym, Quen stopped by the Pokemon Center to get his pokemon all charged up for battle, and to check out his box, which, though it hardly even surprised him anymore, was full of new additions. But Quen did raise his brow as he noticed one of these new additions was the legendary dog, Raikou. Taking his standard approach of not dwelling on things, Quen withdrew the Raikou, as well as a Larvitar, and deposited Tangrowth and Mareep. Heading over to the gym, Quen challenged Nicolas and immediatly called out Vesper, telling her tol destroy every single one of Nicolas's Fire types with Surf.

 Quen knew Vaporeon could easily knock down the rest of these pokemon, but he wanted to test out his new recruits. "McCartney, use Rock slide!", he called to the Larvitar as he released it into the field of battle.

 McCartney threw rocks down on the enemy Vulpix, being too much Vulpix fell easily. 100% exp.
