Electivire was plenty faster, and brought the living legend down with another Thunderpunch before it could inbound the basketball...again, I've got to stop watching all this March Madness...Magmortar followed up by nailing Spiritomb with a COLLOSAL Flamethrower, while Spititomb wrote a suicide note (what? it's already a ghost...) and then stabbed itself through the ectoplasmic heart with an ethreal knife, leaving a profound effect on Electivire, who saw the event unfold. Withdrawing his fakely dead pokemon, the trainer that was helping you called Grumpig back out. [55] 146/205[56] 90/203 [-2 Attack, -2 Special Attack][56] 203/203[Sunny Day - Last Turn] |

Although still traumatized, Electivire struck first with a weakened Thunderpunch that still landed decent damage on Suicune, and Magmortar followed with a glorious TM-taught Fire Blast that scorched Grumpig harshly in the still-bright glare of the enhanced sun. Grumpig was able to bounce back up and finish off Electivire with a well-aimed Psychic, as Suicune launched a powerful wave of water that semi-drowned the weakened Grumpig that was assisting you, but it still did damage to Magmortar, even as the heat of the sun evaporated its full fury. After that, the spell that had been cast on the sun finally ebbed away. As the smoke cleared, it was a one-on-one battle, at long last. [50] 141/207[56] 147/203

Surf hit Magmortar for 113 damage. Magmortar retaliated with Fire Blast, which, even though it is a powerful attack, only hit for 27 damage because of the type differences. [50] 114/207[56] 34/203
