I figure this will be a helpful aid for those who occasionally forget what pokéball does what! There are many pokéballs after all!

If I have missed any, please PM me. :3

The List

Pokéball: Standard pokéball has a normal capture rate.

Great Ball: A pokéball with a 1.5x greater chance of capture than a standard pokéball.

Ultra Ball: A pokéball with a 2x greater chance of capture than a standard pokéball.

Master Ball: A pokéball that never misses and always has a successful capture.

Net Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball unless being used against a Bug; or Wat; type, then its capture rate is 3x that of a standard pokéball.

Dive Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball unless being used underwater, then its capture rate is 3.5x that of a standard pokéball.

Nest Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball unless being used against a significantly (5 or more levels below) lower level pokémon, then it's capture rate is 3.5x that of a standard pokéball.

Repeat Ball:Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball unless the trainer already owns one type of that breed of pokémon, then the capture rate is 3x that of a standard pokéball.

Timer Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball until ten turns in battle, for every ten turns in battle, the capture rate goes up by 1.5x that of a standard pokéball.

Heal Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball, this pokéball simply restores the captured pokémon's HP entirely as well as removing any status ailments.

Dusk Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball unless used in a cave or at night, then the capture rate is 3x that of a standard pokéball.

Quick Ball: When used at the start of a battle, this pokéball has a capture rate 3x that of a standard pokéball, after that, it has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball.

Luxury Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball. It is said that its luxurious lining makes it easier for pokémon to come to like their trainer if they are housed in this type of pokéball.

Premium Ball: Has the same capture rate as a standard pokéball. It has no special effect. It just looks different from the usual pokéball.

Safari Ball: It's had different names and different uses throughout the games, but we all know a safari ball when we go into certain areas, whether it be for a safari zone or a bug catching contest, these balls have an even lower capture rate (apparently) than a standard pokéball.

Heavy Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball unless being used against a heavy pokémon (think big Roc; and Ste; types), then it's capture rate is 2.5x that of a standard pokéball.

Lure Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball unless used against a Wat; type, then the capture rate is 3x that of a standard pokéball.

Friend Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball. It makes the captured pokémon become more tame more quickly.

Love Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball unless the pokémon to be captured is of the opposite gender, then the capture rate is 2.5x that of a standard pokéball.

Level Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball unless the pokémon to be captured is at a lower level than its opponent, then the capture rate is 2x that of a standard pokéball.

Fast Ball: When used to capture pokémon that escape quickly (think abra, oddish or pineco), it's capture rate is high. Other than that it has the capture rate of a standard pokéball.

Moon Ball: Has the capture rate of a standard pokéball unless the pokémon to be captured happens to evolve using a moonstone, then the capture is 4x that of a normal pokéball.

-And there you have it! A list of every pokéball!

Please PM me if there needs to be an amendment to this. :3
